Nothing really excellent place

Excellent room very clean and with everything we needed. The host was very friendly and welcoming and breakfast was excellent. Will definitely stay again. It was in a very nice location and close to lots of shops in Porthleven & Penzance

Only one fault, there was no place to rest soap, etc. in the shower. Only limited choice in the two nearest restuarants

When we arrived the key was waiting for us on the front door with directions to our room. Good secure lock on room. A handy guide to local attractios, restuarants etc provided plus a "Visit Cornwall" information pack. Lovely towels and toiletries. Spotelessly clean. Good breakfast served in large dining room, again very clean. Both host and hostess very welcoming

Everything perfect

Breakfast was excellent. The room was well furnished and everything you needed was there and if used regularly replaced. The owners were very informative on where to eat and visit and the farm was ideally situated for travelling but you need a car.

Ideally we would have had a bigger firmer bed but think that was just the timing of our accommodation and our personal preference.

Little Pengelly Farm has it all! Quiet location, however easy to reach ..10 minutes to the seaside, 20 minutes to St Ives! Good restaurants not far away by car. Our house had everything we needed. Breakfast in the Tearoom is the best! View, yummy food and hospitality. We are grateful for our stay and will reccomend Maxine's B&B to any friends who want to visit Cornwall.

everything we could wish for. Nice nature around and a perfect spot to visit Cornwall. The apparment was really cosy and clean. We especially liked the breakfast and talking to Maxine.

Although the bathroom had excellent shelf space, lighting and placement of the mirror made shaving difficult. The bathroom is a reasonable size but typical of many British showers, you have to run around under the shower head to get wet. Stronger shower water pressure would be nice. We had almost no mobile phone reception but that is more about Vodafone coverage lies than an issue with this property. A washing machine would be handy.

Best breakfast in a very long time. My poached eggs were perfect every day. The studio was a very good size and well laid out so that it was functional and yet still stylish. The WiFi was brilliant. Very fast and very reliable every where on the property. We had good space with a work desk for our PC. Comfy couch and small but very practical dining table and chairs. The room temperature controls were easy to use and worked very effectively. The kitchen was small but worked well for short term stays. The area is lovely and quiet and the room can be made nice and dark at night. The bed is a good size. Our hosts were lovely folk and Maxine was very helpful in recommending local attractions and restaurants. We were given Cornsh Cream tea from our hosts which was spectacular. If this place had a restaurant we would have eaten here every day (yummm...)

Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Breakfast was very good. Local bus 3 minute walk away was very useful to save driving, especially into St Ives. Good quiet location. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Shower pressure was on the low side, could have done with being a bit more powerful.

Quality of accommodation and facilities was excellent with walk in shower, comfortable bed and bedding, plenty of room to move around, triple aspect windows in the main room, with a lovely dining area with wonderful views for miles across the countryside, all in a peaceful and quiet location. Highly recommended.
