A little bit noisy in the evening from other residents coming home late, but was the student area of town. Door codes were a bit confusing at first (until host explained). Back door access wasn't the nicest area. No tea towels but used a hand towel. Bathroom floor wasn't 100% clean, esp skirtings and behind loo.

Proximity to city centre. Easy walking distance. Nicely decorated. Under floor heating. Helpful host. Secure Parking.

The rear entrance to the property from the car park is difficult to see when dark, and the stairwell is slippy underfoot.

The apartment was lovely. It is very clean and extremely well presented. The location is very good too. The instructions to collect keys and gain entrance to the property were helpful and clear.

A well equipped one bedroom flat, just behind the Philharmonic Hall so within easy walking distance of the city centre and both cathedrals. There is secure, free, gated parking at the rear, with a rear entrance for unpacking the car. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again.

It would have been nice to have some milk in the fridge. The bedroom needs a mirror. It wasn’t clear where to leave the key upon departure.

Information on how to access the property was sent only at the last minute, and the door lock did not operate until the precise time of arrival, without contacting the 'host'. Although listed as 'sleeps four', this would have made it very uncomfortable with only one double bedroom and a sofa bed in a small lounge/living room. There was no information folder in the accommodation, so working out how the heating worked and how to increase the amount of hot water available required another call to the host. We never did get the shower to run hot enough to enjoy it! The accommodation was quite dusty and clearly had not had a deep clean for some time. The wooden flooring on the lounge/living room was loose and uneven (either poorly fitted originally or as a result of being incompatible with the underfloor heating). The kitchen facilities were sparse with very little cooking equipment and with a very limited selection of glasses. There were no hooks in the bathroom, so no where to hang a towel, and the hand soap pump did not work. There were no instructions on where to find the waste and recycling bins. The bedroom is at the front of the accommodation and sleep is disturbed by the sound of the restaurant kitchen fan across the street, which runs constantly, and the sound of other tenants in the building, coming and going at all hours. Whilst we did enjoy our time in Liverpool, the accommodation detracted from this and we are unable to recommend it.

The accommodation was centrally placed and within a 20 min walk of many of the attractions. Buses run from nearby stops on a regular basis.

No hot water first day and evening. Host (Margaret) tried hard to solve the problem both no hot water till next day. We never got hot water from the shower. Bathroom threshold strip broken- trip hazard. Some floorboards require levelling. Advertised washing machine was full of bed linen. Bathroom tap dripped constantly. Sprouting potatoes and shrivelled garlic found in one of the uncleaned kitchen cupboards. Needed to clean fridge shelves before storing food. Bedroom blinds could not be raised nor windows opened for fresh air. Tea towel provided very grubby and ragged.

Reasonable furnishings though many bedroom cupboards filled with bedding, towels and 2 very large pairs of shorts.

The flat wasn’t clean: there were dust and used molten coffee capsules in the coffee maker. There were three of us, but wasn’t available third bedding. Instructions for getting the property was very complicated.

Nice flat, comfortable bed, underfloor heating makes flat warm. There are two grocery nearby, different restaurants and not far away from city centre.

The shared hall / entrance was full of mould and not the best - though this is no fault of the owners but just something to be aware of. There was a lot of dust on the top of the bed and unfortunately they did not provide any bedding for the sofa bed. I did contact the owner and she offered to bring some over but it was at 11:30 at night and she was half an hour away so we ended up just using a sheet. You can hear people clearly in the corridor / upstairs but luckily they were not too noisy as it was a Thursday night
