One night stay equidistant between north and south Wales , to meet up with a cousin from north wales …lovely old building and good location for parking. Comfortable clean room, good value for money. On walking paths from the hotel.

It's not a fault, but due to the age of the building, it was a little uneven underfoot for my elderly parent.

Warm, friendly welcome. Room reasonable size with good bathroom. Quiet and comfortable bedroom. We ate in pub. Food was good, mostly appeared home cooked and reasonably priced.

Nothing really, except maybe the noise from the bar which carried on until late ish… but then we are boring oldies who went to bed early!

Lovely old pub full of character and charm. We loved the wonky floors and the general creakiness of it but be aware it’s not perfect because it’s old 😊

General Quality but one must respect the age 16th cent of the Inn, was not a problem for me.

When we booked via dot comm, the facilities offered included breakfast "during the winter month period." We were charged for breakfast although they said if we had booked direct it would have been included!.

We had a very basic evening meal which suited us well.

The music on the Saturday, the band was immediately below our room and couldn't sleep until around 12.30AM

Friendly helpful. Room was clean, cheerful and bed comfy, water hot. Ate a home made burger in the bar and the burger was really home made and delicious.

Some aspects of the room could have used some TLC. For example the shower tiles showed evidence of mildew and the floor tiles in the bathroom were coming away from the wall. Nothing major, but it wouldn't take much to tidy it up. It was an electric shower in the bathroom. It worked, but I was not impressed with this.

Very good full 'English' (in Wales) breakfast and the evening meals in the bar were reasonably priced and tasty. The room was warm and there was a good selection of tea/coffee and complimentary biscuits. Overall it was comfortable, warm and good value for money compared to other establishments in Llandrindod.

Windows didn't open and was very warm but there was a fan available in the room so was not an issue.

The staff were brilliant and really friendly. The room was very clean and we were very impressed.

Water pressure in the shower wasn't the best.

Very traditional old Inn a few minutes walk from the shops. Our room was nice and warm. Plenty of room and storage for clothes. Good supply of tea and coffee. The cooked breakfast was good. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. They brought food up to the room when my partner was unwell. One of the bar staff went out of his way to help when I unintentionally disturbed him on his break.

Quirky property, you have to take in the fact that the property is originally 16th century. Comfortable bed and warm room. Staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble, very warm welcome. Breakfast excellent. Location was lovely, easy walking to the town centre

If you are looking for immaculate walk in shower rooms and high quality interior decor this is not the place for you ! It’s a busy pub so fairly noisy in the rooms. Not recommended for light sleepers ……

A busy, lively pub / hotel with great staff and good food served promptly at reasonable cost. The atmosphere is great. Rooms are well worn and bathroom functional but shabby. Walls are thin and floors creaky , you can hear other guests very clearly !

Staff were friendly, food was good, room was comfortable, but the rest of the pub needs a deep clean and complete make over, even outside was grubby, had to pick up a broken glass myself as it was on the car park for 2 days, and rubbish

A little tired in places, bar area simple, basic. Stairs from bedrooms down to dining room, very narrow, steep and unlit.
