Although a good arrangement with the keys to the property and room made available as 'self service',it is nice to have an initial meet and greet by the proprietor. Having owned a B and B, I do understand that this is a huge commitment due to the varying times of guest's arrival, and may not always be possible. The only real issue was the interference with the TV picture.

Nice quiet location. Parking was easy. Easy to locate keys to entrance door and room on arrival with clear instructions for finding our room. Very spacious bedroom and bathroom. A very warm welcome at breakfast the next day. Nothing was to much trouble when ordering breskfast.

The room was lovely and clean, including the bathroom. Lovely facilities, and extras such as a mini fridge, the only thing I will say is the TV wasn’t working, as there was no signal, but wifi was fab there so we just watched something on our phones. The owner was absolutely lovely. And the rest of the staff were fab and very attentive with our breakfast etc.. overall really enjoyed our stay here

The entrance hall when we arrived was a little dark, and dated, but once we got in and settled it was a lovely guest house to stay in.

The room was simple and comfortable, with a comfy bed. It was quiet, except the pipes/ heating made a bit of noise, but that wasn't really a problem. Nice cooked breakfast included in price. Lovely location, a quick walk over the road to Llwyn Onn reservoir, and not far to drive to Merthyr for food in the evening and not far to drive to the waterfalls walk. Friendly staff, and owner made us really welcome. I would return again 😃

When we arrived the instructions were wrong to our room but we tried the other doors and found our way in but no one was around to greet us.

The staff were friendly and polite. I was please to have an option for vegetarian sausage with my breakfast and they also had soya milk. The room was comfortable and provided drinking and fridge there.

We had a great stay at Llwyn Onn Guest House. Really well located for BikePark Wales. We also walked up Pen-y-Fan which is less than 10 mins away by car.

We arrived late and had to leave the next morning to climb the mountain early. As we had breakfast included the owner put food in our room for breakfast so we didn't miss out. Just awesome customer service!

Nothing not to like.

A beautiful guesthouse, which although has been managed by the same person for 40 years, has seen updating and modernisation, which is often overlooked and can leave these smaller places looking tired. The WiFi was fast, the breakfast was excellent and all the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and made sure my daughter and I had a lovely stay. A great base for Pen-y-fan and we will definitely use again.

The lounge was cold so didn’t feel inclined to sit in there , shame as it’s a lovely room , but I guess with the way fuel prices are unless they knew someone was going to be using it they wouldn’t heat it unnecessarily but it was a shame .
