Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe information provided and at the Three Lochs website stated all amenities were open until end of October during our visit 9-13 October everything was closed and pool open 12.30-4pm (pool required a clean). Therefore no onsite shop, or activities which was one of the main purposes for booking at this site. WiFi was non existent.
Caravan was value for money. It was situated in a good area of the park.

United KingdomThe WiFi was very sketchy and we didn't really get it at all within the accommodation. We also didn't get phone signal on the site itself. To get the WiFi we had to go down to the on site pub and we could then use it for a while in there with a drink but as soon as we ventured away from there it disappeared again. Also be aware there is no nearby shops, takeaways, supermarkets or petrol stations. You will need to travel around half an hour to find them but it is a beautiful location.
Beautiful scenic location. The archery on the site itself was a lot of fun and the instructor was really good, patient and friendly. Staff on the site that we encountered were friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was as described and had all the essentials for a base to stay. Liked that you could book some time in the on site pool just for yourselves and we saw loads of bunnies hopping round the park.

United KingdomWasn't really an issue for us but the on site WiFi is virtually unusable and the mobile signal isn't great so if you have children maybe wise to tell them it's a tech free weekend .
The location of the park is absolutely idyllic , a good 7 miles down single track roads from the nearest main road (which isn't particularly busy anyway ) . The caravan was lovely and clean and well equipped with everything you needed in the kitchen and great value for the money , it's a little dated but I think that's fairly reflected in the price The park itself has various activities(horse riding , watersports, a 9 hole pitch and putt , indoor soft play area , park and indoor pool ans some cycling trails and fishing ) we didn't use these but did have a few drinks at the onsite pub and Sunday lunch at the restaurant which was great value and very tasty .The park is very peaceful and well maintained .

United KingdomWe couldn’t get Wi-Fi in the caravan.
We loved the remote location of the caravan site and the facilities were great. Our sons went swimming nearly every day, our youngest son loved the soft play and went pony trekking which was right next to the caravan park. We also highly recommend the shooting, we tried airgun shooting which was brilliant and Paul was so good with our children. The inflatable water park on the loch is a must for older children, ours loved it so much they went back for another go! Ideal location for paddle boarding, we took our own but they are also available to hire.

United KingdomThere were a couple of Faults we found within the van. When cooking, if we let go of the Grill Knob on the cooker, the grill would stop, and wouldn't remain lit, which seemed strange as the cooker looks brand new. We had a bad experience with the shower, it lacked pressure and wouldn't remain at a constant temperature, it went from look warm to cold and straight to Boiling, then it wouldn't get cooler. The boiler looks abit unsafe, the inspection glass seems to be missing, leaving a hole where the burners are. Other than this, we were very happy with the stay, we couldn't fault anything else!!
The Caravan park has a Brilliant wee bar restaurant. The Caravan it's self was comfortable and was kitted with everything we needed to cook and live

United KingdomThe bed was a little lumpy but nothing too bad. I couldn't figure out the shower which went hot-cold-hot-cold - probably me doing something wrong, but I managed on the last night to have a hot shower.
Great little caravan - Sky TV and lots of rabbit entertainment out the windows from the resident bunnies. I was here with work walking long days and was lovely to come back to to chill and cook.

United KingdomThe bad main road leading to caravan park Static was difficult to locate as was dark when we arrived and caravan Numbers don't run in sequence but in all fairness if arrived during daytime think would have seen the grass road tracks. Could do with putting No 100 on both ends off van
Location of Static with its fantastic views. Nice quiet plot. Handy to explore around Dumfries and Galloway although was only there 2 nights. A must to go back so can explore more. Clean comfortable Static, little starter items very helpful

United KingdomThe caravan is not fit for people to stay in the wind was coming through the windows, the bed felt like it was about to collapse and very uncomfortable, the sofas extremely uncomfortable and I woke up every morning to a bedroom soaking wet with condensation and it dripped from the ceiling on to my head, the heating was deplorable. The caravan need to be scrapped . I would never stay their again .

Place didn't look like it had been cleaned there was blood on the mattress protector. Toilet was stinking of pee and no toilet roll .Floors weren't clean. No cutlery drawer everything just flung in, pots and pans were put back dirty.. needing a better cleaning team and update of furniture place would be great. But this weekend wasn't great.
