Room was quite cold. Noise travelling from guests sat at dining room table.

Really friendly welcome. Room was clean. Good location for our walking trip.

Granted it was September but I still found the accommodation overall cold with the in-room radiator unresponsive when I tried to work it.

Extremely friendly staff during my stay, the room was spacious and an extremely comfortable bed. The bar area was also comfortable with good wi-fi signal.

Would have been nice to have been able to use all the kitchen appliances but I understand due to the Scottish covid restrictions this wasn’t possible.

Great location for exploring Loch Ness and the surrounding areas. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Room was small but cosy.

Location was difficult to find without satnav. Shower and sink are separate from room. However, it was provided as exclusively use for us.

    Near the Loch Ness river.

We totally appreciate that COVID-19 has brought several challenges but it would be great if the hosts could start allowing guests to use the kitchen (when appropriate). Please, also upgrade your microwave and fridge as it would allow people to be quicker with their food preparation etc.

We went there as a family of four with two children. The hostel is in a great location; it is spacious and rooms have enough privacy. It has got lovely interiors and dining area along with outdoor seating. The hostel has license to serve alcohol which would be handy for thirsty travellers. Host is kind, knowledgeable and advised us of places to visit.

the room was a little small but comfortable, we weren't planning to stay indoors too much anyway

this place is a hidden gem just a little off the beaten path but still walking distance to everything you need. Perfect for kids - there is a lovely playground just behind the building. Urquhart Castle is a lovely walk away. A large supermarket is very near too as well as the village with all the cafes and restaurants you need.

Very friendly hostel in a great location. Wonderful efforts made to be Covid-safe, with private toilets and showers for each room. Felt very safe and super clean. Lots of information and help from the owner, Patrick, who was more than willing to recommend some great activities for my stay, and some excellent beers from the on-site bar. Also some excellent music choices in the bar area! Will definitely come here again! If you are travelling here soon, just keep in mind that the hostel isn't able to offer some of the normal facilities (like use of the kitchen and the common rooms) because of Covid regulations, but the bar and outside bbq area are still available. Speak to them about what's currently available, as this will change as restrictions lift.

Perfectly positioned on the great Glen way trail, super friendly staff, well equipped kitchen.

It would be nice to have small light above the bed - there is only one central light in the room, which is problematic if you do not want to wake up your roommates.

Place is great and affordable - quiet, safe and very very clean. It has clean and warm (very appreciated during cold evenings) bathrooms, comfortable beds, enough space in room and additional space for relaxing in main building. It is easy to access by bus, close to castle and wood walks. App. 10min walk to village center.
