the breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. You had to ask for a slice of bread every single time plus I wouldn't call it Highlander breakfast if there is no Haggis in it. They were a bit greedy about the bread and the butter.

seems like brand new place, very spacious, the staff were nice, gave us a perfect burger before the kitchen closed, they have a cute bar, have a kitchen/dining area for self catering

Stayed here on day three of walking the great glen way. Fantastic place, super clean and felt like a hotel. Excellent for hikers, on the route, not far from the supermarket, nice restaurant on premises with a separate vegan menu, clean self service kitchen, would recommend 100%

Would have been fab to have somewhere more comfy to relax in the shared areas, lots of seating in the kitchen but only kitchen chairs or bench seats which weren't very comfy. Unfortunately floors are really creaky so people just walking across their room upstairs was really loud.

Loved the decor and everything felt almost new, lots of lovely touches that made it feel a step up from a standard hostel. Had a 4 bunk dorm to myself with a shared ensuite shower and bathroom, all super clean and well kept. Kitchen was huge with plenty of space for prepping and eating. Pub next door but I had food with me. Beds super comfy, and scenery gorgeous, river running just behind the building.

The best hostel I've ever stayed in. Spacious rooms with comfortable bed and en-suite bathrooms - cleanliness is exceptional, kitchen and common area are great, and the stream at the back of the garden is wonderful to hang out at.

Noise travelled and you could hear people walking upstairs. However, as most guests were tired hikers this wasn't a problem, everyone was respectful and tried to make as little noise as possible. As with any hostel, I'd recommend bringing ear plugs and a sleep mask.

Very modern building and facilities. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, kettle, fridge freezer. Bedrooms were spotlessly clean. Each hostel room has its own shared toilet and shower which again were new and clean. The hostel itself is in a beautiful peaceful location. I loved eating dinner and breakfast on the picnic benches in the garden which had a stream running through it.

Nothing to not like although I had to ‘discover’ the kitchens/dining area and also noticed laundry and drying facilities when I was leaving. I don’t remember being told about these - apologies if I was.

Ideal location if walking the Great Glen Way. The staff were very welcoming on arrival. The building seemed to be brand new. Bathroom and shower great. Personal charging points, plug socket and reading light for each bed was a great touch.

Restaurant prices were a bit high in my opinion. Although the food was nice. Also the cost of breakfast was a bit overpriced per person.

The peaceful garden & river at the back was superb. Strolling out there with my coffee was a great start to the day.

Squeaky floor in bedroom made it hard for people to walk around while others were sleeping.

This was an amazing place! We've been traveling in hostels and walking into our room was like walking into a spa hotel. The room was spotless, the shower was wonderful. The restaurant was fabulous. I would love to come back to Scotland, just to stay here again

The soundproofing of the rooms is not sufficient. In the early morning, you can clearly hear the sounds of the next room.

The rooms are very clean and quiet and from the window of the room, you can see a creek outside, which is very nice and peaceful for rest. In addition, the common kitchen is clean and comfortable to enjoy cooking.

Rooms are basic but clean and tidy, bed very comfortable, bedding and towels provided, food was great.. I opted for the Mac and cheese with chips, a little pricey but worth it for the quality.

bar closed early. (10 is reasonable) but there we’re other options nearby and they were very pleasant in regards to when they needed to lock up.

very lovely setting and facilities. shared kitchen was perfect to cook meals. quiet close drive to the loch or north to Inverness.
