After an unexpectedly long drive Martin kindly stayed up late to check us in and show us round the pod, which was perfect. Robins and bluetits swarming the birdfeeder in the morning under the watchful eye of his lovely grey cat Gandalf. Perfect - we hope to return!

Loved the surrounding area and how cozy the pod was. Hosts were also very accommodating and looked after me as I had an injury.

The location was perfect. It was peaceful, private and scenic while being very close to local amenities. The pod was extremely well equipped and comfortable. Martin was the perfect blend of helpful and informative while leaving us to enjoy the space.

Fantastic experience. I love the idea of woodland pods. The owners are excellent. So professional and friendly. They help you enjoy and plan your trip. You will get the book with all nearby attractions. Also with contacts and qr codes. Internet speed is superb. If you love nature this is the best place to stay. Here you can watch birds, orange squirrels and also two lovely cats.

Everything was great!

The location was stunning, beautiful green surrounds and plenty of wildlife. We especially loved seeing the cats when they came around. The pod itself had everything you could need, it was very well built and designed. Bed was extremely comfortable also! Martin & Kirsty were some of the best hosts we have had. Incredibly friendly and Martin gave really good advice on places to go in the area and also when to get to some tourist destinations in order to beat the crowd.

Literally nothing. Everything was amazing and so relaxing.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this property or Martin & Kirsty. The pod was beautiful, much bigger than I expected, and had everything in it you could need. The location was so beautiful, and sitting out on the decking watching the bird feeder with my breakfast was a total highlight. Easy walk into the village for amazing shops and great places to eat. The weather was definitely on our side as well. Will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Red Squirrel Pod. The friendly hosts, the coziness of the pod, the amazing outside area with the bird feeders. The squirrel decorations and all the welcoming little extras. The ease of walking as the lovely woodland area is so close. Location was great for everything we wanted to do. Overall, the pod and our hosts were fantastic.

The pod was absolutely amazing. Great value for money and very private. Martin was a lovely host and made the experience very personal. He had bought us milk, bread, fresh coffee, biscuits etc. It was such a special touch. Would highly recommend staying here, it was lovely. Thank you so much for having us!

Their were no issues, nor things I didn't like. Google maps needs to show the right turn just before you hit a farm. So literally their is a right turn just after you pass by Balmacaan Rd the road goes to a dirt road. then go to the end of the road and turn left before you hit a hill, as you drive along you will see a house go just slightlypast it and its on the left,, hope that helps

The peaceful area is a perfect getaway, and the pod is very comfy n cosy. I only met Martin, and he was very helpful with the area and where the nice walks were with maps he sent over.

great pod. very spacious and amazing location. couldn't have asked from more from the hosts as they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. plenty wildlife around loved to sit and watch all the birds feed in the morning.
