Location.Location Location Lovely place to stay just on the outside of Oban at the Connel Bridge.Staff were very helpful and the evening meal we had was very reasonably priced.Great breakfast in the morning too.

Only downside for us personally was that our twin room didn’t have much of a view of anything at all, (except the house next door) but I did notice other rooms had an incredible view of the loch.

Spotlessly clean and lovely breakfast! About a 10 min drive from Oban town centre but a lovely peaceful and very beautiful setting overlooking the loch. …and you have to cross a really cool bridge to go back and forth if driving. Room was freshened every day and staff were super nice. Our room was lovely and cosy and very comforting to come back to after our days out. It had a decent kettle and hair dryer in room and lovely fresh fluffy white towels! Would’ve given 5 stars if we’d had a better view from our room. But that said, couldn’t fault it otherwise and the view of the loch is beautiful from the breakfast lounge.

Little to complain about.

Superior room was exactly that-great view, it was ‘bathrooms together’ with next door, so very little noise transference, quite rare these days. Early start one day meant no breakfast but hotel addressed with a very nice packed lunch-thanks.

Nice location, enjoyed our evening meal, lovely view from our room and relaxing stay. The Italian gentleman who dealt with us at breakfast was very pleasant and efficient. I believe his wife cooked our breakfast which was excellent. They are a great asset to the hotel.

Apart from having the worst weather, the welcome at the Lochnell Arms hotel was warm and friendly. The staff at this hotel were lovely. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and plenty to choose from. Excellent location, which I imagine on a beautiful day you would get fabulous views from the hotel bar. Definately value for money. This was my second stay at the Lochnell Arms. I had a lovely sea view room and it was so comfy! Beautiful views from the huge window ! The restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the food is really good ! The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. I can highly recommend a stay here 😃

Nothing, everything was just as we expected

Breakfast was great with a good a choice of items. Evening meal was super. staff very friendly. Unfortunately our departure was delayed due to the roads being closed with landslides and flooding, we had to ask for an extra nights stay as there was no alternate roads we could take. the owners were very helpfull and made up a room for us that was not usually used. Overall we had two good nights stay, and if we were ever in the area again(touring or stayvacatiob) we would head straight for The Lochnell Arms Inn.

Nothing at all only the weather.

The best breakfast I have been served on any holiday.I lived in the area 60 years ago so it’s always good to go back and the Lochnell would always be my go too.
