Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We booked this hotel for my wife's birthday treat and enjoyed the whole experience of Liverpool. The hotel staff could not have been any better and the hotel itself was amazing. We enjoyed it so much our 2 night stay turned into a 3 nighter as we booked an additional night.

SingaporeIt was a bit dark in our room and a little cold. There also were seagulls outside the room window making a racket in the nighttime. We were suprised as our room was on the ground floor.
Location was the best thing about the property. Close enough to everything walkable of Interest. Do note it is attached to a bar and there is a separate entrance to the hotel. Breakfast is served in the cafe for a reasonable price and cocktails in the evening too

A peach of a hotel located very conveniently in central Liverpool. We were a stone throw's walk from the docks, as well as the cathedral, which is a must-see attraction. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. They provided an extra duvet because we were feeling cold. Highly recommended!

GuernseyThe roof above the clothes rail leaked overnight in heavy rain. My open suitcase below meant some clothing got wet. Staff very apologetic but condition of the ceiling showed this is not the first time. Hotel owner - put your room out of service and get your roof fixed instead of putting your staff in an awkward position. Luckily my trip didn’t include an event where wet clothing would have been a disaster.
Very welcoming, staff exceptional, room great - we chose the extra spacious option.
