Though the hotel tried to cater to my request for a quiet room, the noise from the road was still an issue for me. Attic room so no windows to look out (one in ceiling)

Exquisite boutique hotel at optimal location, very clean and nice bathroom. Very friendly and warm staff. Bed was comfy.

Asked for twin beds but had a king size bed Due to mobility issues, had to climb stairs

We booked this hotel for my wife's birthday treat and enjoyed the whole experience of Liverpool. The hotel staff could not have been any better and the hotel itself was amazing. We enjoyed it so much our 2 night stay turned into a 3 nighter as we booked an additional night.

Great location. Nice friendly staff. Was quiet for decent sleep. Didn’t eat but had a nice drink in the bar before heading out, staff nice in there too.

The location is outrageously good and the rooms were everything I needed. Spacious, comfy and cosy. Bathroom was also great - great shower pressure. The staff were all lovely and helpful and warm. Thanks for a great stay! If I’m ever back in Liverpool, I’ll be returning here. ❤️

Very friendly staff from Luke on arrival barman and breakfast they looked after us.. Centrally located , carpark nearby which we got a code for. Restaurants and tourist attractions within walking distance.

It was a bit dark in our room and a little cold. There also were seagulls outside the room window making a racket in the nighttime. We were suprised as our room was on the ground floor.

Location was the best thing about the property. Close enough to everything walkable of Interest. Do note it is attached to a bar and there is a separate entrance to the hotel. Breakfast is served in the cafe for a reasonable price and cocktails in the evening too

They shower could have been a little hotter, but certainly not a deal-breaker.

A peach of a hotel located very conveniently in central Liverpool. We were a stone throw's walk from the docks, as well as the cathedral, which is a must-see attraction. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. They provided an extra duvet because we were feeling cold. Highly recommended!

The roof above the clothes rail leaked overnight in heavy rain. My open suitcase below meant some clothing got wet. Staff very apologetic but condition of the ceiling showed this is not the first time. Hotel owner - put your room out of service and get your roof fixed instead of putting your staff in an awkward position. Luckily my trip didn’t include an event where wet clothing would have been a disaster.

Very welcoming, staff exceptional, room great - we chose the extra spacious option.

Love everything about The Lock and Key. This was our third time staying here in the last few months.The location is great,staff are so friendly and helpful,rooms are nicely decorated and real comfy beds. We've booked our next stay already.

We loved the location. Close to the city centre and Albert docks. The rooms were clean and well presented! The staff were lovely and welcoming plus they had 24 hour reception which was a bonus to use and we arrived later in the day. Definitely recommend!
