I just wish the check in could of been a little earlier and the checkout a little later as we felt like we didn’t get as much time here as we wanted ! Other than that nothing to complain about.

The lodge was beautiful, it was so cosy and warm on a cold day. The hot tub was so nice aswell, great after a long day of walking. We can’t wait to go back.

When we arrived the property was roasting hot. The heating must have been left on and it was the middle of summer.

Had a power cut for about an hour on Friday 21st July and this meant we couldn’t get showers etc before bed

Although the lodge is clean with lovely clean bedding and towels it does lack that extra bit of attention. The kettle was covered in limescale (I brought this up on our previous visit) and the extractor needs cleaning, when using it grease was running down the splash back. Windows and decking could do with cleaning especially the patio doors, sat looking at a lovely view obscured by dirty windows. I appreciate the previous visitors should clean crockery but this should be checked, we had to wash items before we could use them. I brought some of my own saucepans this time because I found on the previous visit there wasn't enough. Light bulbs need checking some were out and the main bathroom door lock does not work.

This is our second visit to the lodge this year and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The lodge is lovely and spacious, very comfortable, good shower and very comfortable beds. The lodge is in a good position, very private and enjoyed the hot tub. location is great for sightseeing

only one small complaint was that there wasn’t a cover over the hot tub so we couldn’t use it on the second day of our stay because it was raining

When it rains you can here it on the roof quite load when you are trying to sleep and there is another strange noise when you are sleeping I couldn’t quite work out what it was sounded like someone walking around but I think it must have been the boiler and they sent me all these rules but when we got there a lot of the rules had already been crossed like there was a glass with a crack right down it and when we got in the hot tub there was bits of plastic which looked like they had come off the hot tub lieing in the bottom off the hot tub

I liked the design of the lodge it was modern and easy to use the hot tub was very nice and it was quite cold when we stayed there but it still stayed warm when you where in it with the over off it was a very enjoyable stay

Could do with a canopy over hot tub to use in all weather's and to be more private and as previous guests have said it needs a handbook explaining what's what. We did find the WiFi password in the kitchen drawer. We didn't realise the hot tub played music till the day we were coming home and wouldn't have known how to get it on without instructions. Although the lodge was clean it could do with a little tlc like cleaning around the doorways and decking and the cutlery/crockery needs to be checked for cleanliness we had to wash some of it before use. The lodge could benefit from some extra pans, we were OK for two of us but if the lodge was full to capacity you would struggle to cook a meal for everyone. Also high areas such as top of shower ledge needs to be cleaned it was very dusty...if you're paying top prices you expect top cleanliness. Having said all this it is a lovely top lodge, we have already recommended it and would definitely go again.

The lodge is beautiful and in a lovely spot on the site, very quiet and private. We had the most relaxing chilled out time with almost everything you could need. Beds were lovely comfortable and clean, plenty of towels and little extras like hand soap and cleaning clothes/teatowel for the kitchen

couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi whole time we were there but we had better family time for it. Only other things were small annoyances such as cushions for the seats out side had bits of dry food from other Guests on them. and could of done with a welcome pack explaining things such as Wi-Fi password as one on the box never worked , where the bins are on the sight, how to use the appliances and speakers in hot tub as couldn’t finger a few of them out.

blown away by the property as a whole really fantastic place to stay will deffo be back as soon is we’re able.

Nothing really not to like, everything was lovely, the staff member at reception was a little bit abrupt when we arrived when I asked about how we check in as we had to pay a £200 deposit first. The bathroom door in the lodge also is stiff and we struggled to open it a couple of times but it worked fine. The day was overall amazing.

I was extremely happy at my stay here we had a brilliant time would recommend this to family and friends! Locations very nice in a reserved area and quiet complex which makes it more relaxing.

Cutlery and glasses were very dirty had to wash everything before we used it, The hot tub was a major disappointment, I brought my own kit with me to read the chlorine and pH levels as you can become unwell if they aren't right, pH was far to high and chlorine a bit low, it could also have done with a clean or filter changed lots of things floating around in it, high level jet function wasn't working either so complained to one of the staff but didn't get fixed

Lodge was very spacious and clean and tidy and have everything you need in it for cooking and washing if you were staying for a long period, shower was excellent very powerful, loved the space in open kitchen and living room and TVs in bedrooms was like being at home kids could relax and watch a film in bed
