The fact that we couldnt stay longer.

The rooms were clean, but were aged, doesnt matter because they were clean. Beds were comfortable. Washroom was clean and functional. Soap, shampoo and bath gel, hair dryer and towels were provided. I loved the fact that they had a very responsive staff. Our bedroom heater was not functioning, the staff immediately got us electric heaters for the room as it was late and they wanted to make sure it doesnt disturb our sleep. The gentleman in the night shift was very polite and even offered us free breakfast as he felt it was not fair on us about the heater. The lady at the breakfast the next morning was also awesome, made sure we were taken care of. The breakfast included eggs, toasts, jams, cereals, yoghurts, teas, coffees, juices. Not the COVID-19 paper bag cold breakfast. There are restaurants and tescos at walking distance. On-site parking is available.

one message said no parking and one said you could park. We parked on a nearby pay parking spot then found out at the guest house we could have parked at the property if there was a space, which in our case there was.

Greeting at the property, room was very clean, quiet, easy to check out.

Rooms could use a bit more cleaning in surfaces you don't usually touch, like under the beds or window frames. Also, not a bad thing but mind it's a 30 minute walk to the city centre that we happily did, bus stop is 200m away though.

Stayed in the second floor, room 7. No noise from the street or other guests. They provide you with towels, toiletries and tea/coffee. There's a kettle and a hair dryer in the room and a microwave in the stairs for all the guests to use. Breakfast was really good and staff was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

The cleaners need to empty the shower trap as it was full of hair and stopped the water draining away properly.

Lovely room, big and light. The building was on an easy route into the centre of Oxford as per the description and very close to a lot of useful shops and restaurants. Definitely would recommend

The property was nice and clean, comfortable, all you need in a bedroom, extra bedding available. Bathroom nice and clean. Local shops and restaurants are really nice!! About 30 minute walk from the city centre.

Although the room and bathroom felt clean, I did find dust on top of the kettle. This was the only thing that was under par on our visit.

The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We visited during a heatwave and were very grateful to have a fan in our room. It was so easy to access the town centre using the multiple bussess going from right outside the guesthouse.

The room could have done with better blackout curtains but that may just be personal preference!

The shower was very fiddly and the bathroom did not have a proper ventilation.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, you can leave your luggage at a sister hotel in the city centre. Room is good, bed is comfy.

I had the single room which is small. Bathroom is also small. Can be tricky to move around.

Very small room. Shared bathroom. It was quite noisy when other guests moved around their rooms. Couldn't shut the skylight blind or turn off the hallway light so quite a lot of light pollution in the room. Everything in the room needs a dusting and a new coat of paint. The room was so small you couldn't open the door without hitting the desk

Very bad experience! Paid 65 pounds for a single room for 1 night for nothing. I paid for a room with a bathroom and the bathroom was outside of the room and shared. That's rediculous. Room not cleaned with a window on top of your head while you are sleeping. There were hair in the linen and the bathroom. Very sad place. Very noisy and very cold. Very bad very bad. No words to discribe my disappointment. I would never recommend it, at least the single room that I had. Also staff very unfriendly and not responsive. I had sent 3 messages and emails before my arrival.. Never replied. Phone never answered. Extremely disappointing experience overall and terriblly overpriced.
