A bit dated but what you’d expect from a 2 star hotel.

Location was excellent right outside the train station. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Was up 2 floors not easy with luggage and doors tight

Actual pillows stained yellow. Cleaner took de caff teabag ,brought from home. Couldn't get shower to work.

We weren’t able to leave our cases when we arrived at midday as their luggage room was full. It was a very wet and windy day so we had to traipse our luggage about with us, over cobbled paths in places. We were all in our late sixties so unfortunately this wasn’t a good start to our short break. It’s a shame that the breakfast room couldn’t be used to leave luggage as I have experienced in other hotels.

It was conveniently located near Lime Street station. Breakfast was continental, plenty to choose from. Lady serving was very pleasant. All staff were friendly and helped where they could.

Noise from the corridor, people walking very late over night There was a terrible noise over night, which was a fire alarm, nobody came to say that all was fine. I had to go downstairs to the reception and ask what was going on. A nice member of the staff explained that someone used viper which caused the fire alarm. I would prefer to be informed instead of worrying about the situation, sitting in the room at 3 am...

Mattress was bowed in the middle and felt like you was in a hammock. Very uncomfortable on the spine but an easy problem for the management to fix.

I used the hotel for one over night stop. I had a early train from Lime Street Station which it is ideally located for (literally a two minute walk). Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for the money.

This is a budget hotel but the room and bathroom were great, no hairdryer but I knew that before I went but had everything else you needed; staff were really friendly and helpful; complementary breakfast (continental) was great; very close to Lime Street Station (head towards Wetherspoon, come out of side of station and turn right - 2 mins walk); very close to Christmas Market; I would recommend this hotel

Needs an upgrade, modernised and brought up to date. Looked grubby on the outside, that was off putting, but it was clean ok i side and the staff were welcoming. Beds uncomfertable but ok for 1 night For the price it was cheap so we didnt expect 5* Location right by the train station and xmas market.

Shower took 10 minutes to heat up... Had to have a cold shower in the morning. I tried to check out at 7:30am and the guy on the "24/7" desk was asleep on a sofa.

Aesthetic was nice, room was clean and comfortable. Lady that checked me in was very polite and pleasant
