We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We stayed in the plush main building and were very well fed over dinner (taster menu) and breakfast on a one night stay. Make sure you have a cocktail in the Green Room before eating… Our room (master, without loch view) was generously sized and comfortable and the young staff were all very nice.

United KingdomThe service charge on all items including bar bills, and this on top of very expensive beer. The service charges left a seriously bad taste and even the locals in the nearby bars were saying that they get charged as well, which is why they don't go. If you go to the bar and pay £7 plus for a pint then why a service charge on top or should we be pulling the pint ourselves? This unfortunately seemed to cater for all the American visitors so if you can get the service charges from some then why not charge everyone else including the locals. This is such a shame for what should have been a great experience in a very nice friendly hotel.

United KingdomWe had a wonderful stay at The Lovat. First of all the team answered questions very quickly when sent via booking.com The place is spotless! So welcoming! Staff are lovely and very polite. Room was cleaned every day. I loved the little extras that you don't regularly find in hotels these days e.g. mini fridge, great quality towels and lovely toiletries. Breakfast was cooked to perfection every morning. We would love to stay here again when we visit the area.

United KingdomThe room was rather warm even with the heating turned off but there was a fan in the room, so we should have made use of it. We know for next time and it wouldn’t stop me booking again!
The staff were all so friendly and incredibly professional, providing a high standard of service from beginning to end! I was so impressed with them and the property itself is stunning. Very country-chic. The bed was so comfortable, I had a great bath, dinner (3-course tasting menu) was divine and breakfast was absolutely delicious and well worth the splurge.

Everything!!!! Liam, conor and josh were impeccable. Fantastic service and all staff were kind and attentive. Hosts were wonderful! Highly Recommend station road for dinner...the tasting menu was exceptionally good. Garden room was super comfy!

United StatesWe did have to switch rooms upon arrival due to a glitch in the booking.com website. The room we were switched to was a slight downgrade and due to the glitch they couldn't refund us the difference. Despite all of this we absolutely loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.
The atmosphere was absolutely incredible from the second you walked in the door. You will wake up to breathtaking views all around.
