Everything was so relaxing and friendly. On arrival a wonderful piece of cake in the room, much appreciated after a tough days cycling in the hills to get there but so well worth it. Very clean bedroom with a good size en-suite shower room with toiletries, and a nice comfy bed. The farm, which has so much history, is located in a beautiful setting, so peaceful and relaxing, felt very much at home. The proprietors and family could not have been more helpful and welcoming. A wonderful full English breakfast to start the days onward cycling, such a shame I had to move on, would have loved to have stayed longer. The local pub in Butterleigh village was most welcoming, serving nice food and good beers and only a pleasant mile walk from the farm with stunning views whilst en-route so well worth a visit.

Lovely location but be aware that it is remote. The building is an old Devon farmhouse and very beautiful and as it is a working farm I woke up in the morning to the sound of the cows in the field - vey peaceful

I challenge you to not like this place. It is special, full stop.

This farm houses the most loveable and kindest family one would ever be grateful to meet. Closely followed by the landlady of the nearby Butterleigh Inn.

I was happy to only have a bath and no shower but for some, this might not be ideal. I'm not sure if the other bathrooms have a shower.

The host was super friendly and the piece of fruit cake and milk left in my room upon arrival was a lovely touch! Breakfast was enormous so you're definitely not going to go hungry after that! I enjoyed the secluded location but it may not be for everyone! I had a flat tyre on my bike and they were totally fine with me staying a while longer in the morning whilst I sorted that out which I was very grateful for! Absolute bargain for the money!

Not sure anything could have been better. Addition of a jug to fill the kettle from the sink rather than having to use a glass but that is really not an issue at all. A sign on the lane outside to point to the entrance maybe?

The location, the friendliness of the host, the food, the space in the bedrooms, comfortable beds, and the attention to detail to make us all welcome, the cake supplied was amazing as well . Perfect location to unwind at. The character of the building was amazing.

Lower Ford Farm is set in some beautiful rolling Devon countryside, and in a super quiet and peaceful spot. I was welcomed very warmly by the owner, and she showed me to my room - which was huge! Plenty of space, huge bathroom too, and windows opening onto the farm yard, with a pond, lovely cottage garden - very pleasant.

Friendly hosts and animals and a really excellent breakfast. Good evening walk (about 1 mile) to the local pub for decent food and great ambience.

Although the bathroom was huge and very pleasant I would have appreciated the opportunity to have a shower or at least to have had a shower attachment to the bath taps.

I loved the farmhouse itself and the bedroom was very spacious and the bed comfortable.

Everything was just great. Had a lovely stay. Bed comfy. Cake in the room. Slept well. Woke to sound of mooing cows, which was also very nice Breakfast was delicious and in a lovely setting. Hosts were amazing and very friendly. Thankyou!

Lower Ford Farm is a charming old farmhouse set in rolling countryside not far from Tiverton. Diane and her husband made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived and throughout my stay. My room was comfortable, warm and sunlit - with a perfect place to sit by the window and enjoy tea and Dianes lovely cake. Breakfast was plentiful and beautifully cooked. I felt really at home here and I’ll definitely be back to stay again soon.
