Sink in the bathroom was very small and you had to use your cup from the tea/coffee facility to fill the kettle as didn’t fit due to small sink. The shelf above the sink was too low which made it difficult when cleaning teeth to spit out. Bed for me was too soft as I prefer a more solid mattress. There was no milk provided for tea/coffee facilities. Wi-Fi was in and out.

I booked a single room which had no window and a small fan which did little to increase the amount of air in the room.and room was dirty .I complained about this after the first night and was moved to a much better double room.

The location was perfect .Its right across the road from.the Tram Station that takes you directly to the airport. The centre of town shopping etc is on your doorstop and the staff were very friendly .I would have given much higher scores if I had not had the experience of room 5 .

Unfortunately we had a fire evacuation at 5am on a very cold night . We were outside 20 minutes then the fire brigade arrived . It was a false alarm , the siren activated again at 7.30 and continued on and off for half an hour It was deactivated and hopefully will be sorted before the next guests.

Welcoming , staff, clean room with refreshment facilities . Quieter than you would expect for a public house accommodation

Not much! No breakfast offer but as all the cafes of the Norther Quarter are so close which give you a change of scene.

Very good location, and with this in mind very good value for money. The room was an en suite and comfortable, just when we needed. All the cafes and bars of the Northern Quarter are a short hop, such as Matt and Phred's jazz bar, and the Lower Turks Head (the actual pub downstairs) is a nice "local" where we stopped for a pint before heading out. Nb none of the noise of the pub could we hear in the room when we were trying to sleep, so got a good night's sleep, on a Saturday night in Manchester.

Excellent location for exploring the various pubs and bars around the city, especially the Northern Quarter. Very comfortable bed, clean and welcoming. The pub itself was excellent.

Didn’t dislike anything, good value for money!

Loved that it was an old style pub but the hotel bit was separate, really easy to work the doors/key fob. Staff were really nice and friendly and was a fab location! We walked to and from the ao arena to our gig
