the beds were extremely flat and uncomfortable. I usually sleep well in any places, out in the woods camping, air mattress, whatnot, but the bed here was in such a bad condition that it felt like it might have been better to sleep on the floor than on this mattress. The staff were not the most friendly set of chaps.

Corridors & stairwells were a bit austere. Room lighting was a bit austere. No conditioner with shampoo. (I forgot my toothbrush & paste and there was no option to rectify at reception).

The water-tap with the sensor is really annoying, the water only runs for 2 seconds at a time. If this could be increased to >5 s or entirely replaced by a water-tap with manual control this would be great.

Everything was fine for an alternative place to stay in Central London cheaply. Nothing we didn't like. Normally prefer en suite but everything was opposite our door. Also as oldies it was fun to go back to our student days.

Breakfast was superb with a wonderful selection of fruit and everything else you could possibly want.The location was perfect and at a very good price. The room was clean and comfortable.Pleasant atmosphere.

Amazing location. The breakfast was brilliant. The cheapest option by far in London. It's obviously not fancy, but is a perfect base for a London trip.

I happen to go during a heatwave and it was a struggle. Obviously not their fault, it's just the buildings are designed to keep in heat without any air con so it was pretty suffocating. There was also only one small shower split between a lot of people.

It was cool to have a room to yourself at a hostel price. The location was AMAZING, with it being really easy to walk to Covent Garden and train stations. Breakfast was simple but good, and it was great that it was included. Staff were helpful and friendly as well.

Excellent breakfast. Great location for central London and Theatre land. Comfortable room. Obviously student accommodation with shared shower and toilet, but in good condition. helpfully looked after luggage for the day after my stay.

The room was really small , and without much decoration. The shared bathroom had a flood until they fixed it. But they sent me to another bathroom in the meanwhile. All this was known to me beforehand and considering the price was wort it. But it was nothing more than a place to rest in the end of the day.

The location was excellent. 5 minutes from covent garden. The staff was all helpful and nice. When I asked for a fan in the room they gave me one with no problem. Great breakfast every morning. The room was clean, and I had a great view from my window. The shared shower was clean

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was close to my room. Was able to leave my bag in storage for a couple of hours after I checked out before going to the airport. Location is excellent. It's about 3 minutes walk from Holborn station and only a few minutes away from the British Museum. Breakfast was satisfactory but there wasn't a massive selection. Still it was adequate for my needs and it was included in the price.
