An extra few items of kitchen equipment would have made life better: a cafetière and a set of side plates for example.

The location was excellent. Garry was at the end of the phone to sort out any queries. It is just a stroll to the train station for very regular trains to Queens street. The car park is very convenient and you can even keep an eye on your vehicle from the apartment, although there is nothing to make you anxious anyway. I experienced the best selection of bathroom toiletries on any of my travels. We did leave a list of little niggles that would make things even better, but overall we enjoyed our stay in Cardiff and can recommend the apartment as a base to explore Tiger Bay with its rich history. There is even a friendly seagull that alights on the window ledge to peck the window for attention!

Not really a dislike but the apartment was cold when we went in and we had no way to put the heating on. I contacted the owner who told me it was on a timer and it did come on later. It also didn’t come on til 7 in the morning, but we are early risers so access to the controls would have been a bonus.

Heating is controlled remotely and not conducive to city break etc! One radiator in lounge not working, the other not man enough for the size of the lounge. The weather was cold and only the bedrooms were warm enough to sit around in.

Very convenient both for town centre and Cardiff Bay area! Hot water was plentiful for 3 residents.

Excellent apartment but felt it missed a few easy essentials like chopping board and side plates, hooks in hall for wet coats maybe, hooks or rail in bathroom by shower or shower for towels, hand towels (only bath towels provided ) instructions for tv and heating. Lounge radiators came on when we arrived as we requested but not in bedrooms and next morning we had no heating but luckily not too cold. Bedroom bin not emptied from last guest and strong smell of cooking food on arrival but resolved by opening all windows and found some air freshener. Paintwork needs refreshing as lots of scuff marks. Great place and happy to recommend as well priced but not at “luxury” level as advertised.

Advertise as a 2 bedroom apartment with 3 beds if needed but the 3rd bed was a camp bed which was to small for an adult/teenage boy to sleep on so ended up sleeping on the sofa where there were no curtains or blinds to keep the light out. Instructions on how to work the TV and also which Bin to use for recycling would be good.

The situation was excellent, Owners were very understanding when our arrival time was delayed by 2 hours due to accident on the motorway. Secure parking

It was difficult to find with a sat-nav using the post code and the details on Booking.com should say that it is on West Bute Street. That would solve the problem

Very well located, close to Mermaid Quay, and easy access to the Centre from Cardiff Bay Station. Exceptional value. Fully equipped kitchen and lots of space. Garry was very reactive to all our messages and was there to welcome us. The only downside was the issue with the door handle (hopefully resolved soon), and the decor was a bit sparse.
