No clothes dryer was a bit of a hassle as the weather wasn't suitable to dry outside.

Nice location with walking an option to everything including a lovely local Pub. Very clean and tidy. Gift basket upon arrival was a lovely touch with coffee and tea options and some biscuits.

The living room felt quite dark. Also there was a slight damp smell when returning to apartment after being out all day.

The sofa is really comfy, but just a little bit low which made it difficult getting up. Also no condiments were included, I think some little sachets of sauces would be great along with the tea/coffee/hot chocolate :)

Wonderful place to stay, with such a cosy homely feel. We was greeted with a nice little hamper, and guide book. The kitchen was a lovely size and had everything needed to cook, including a dishwasher which was really handy. The bath was huge and the ambient lighting topped it off. The beds were really comfy & clean. It was a wonderful stay and would definitely return to either this property or any other run by Hexham Holiday Homes.

Not a problem but a little noisy from above at times could hear doors opening and closing and could hear them walking around upstairs at times but I was still happy 😃

The duvets on the beds are not big enough. This is the second of Hexham Holiday Homes I have stayed at and the same problem last time. As the duvet is the same dimensions of the mattress when there are two of you, as there was during my last visit, in the double bed the duvet does not cover you. If you are alone in the bed then it is absolutely fine.

Great location for town. Didnt use the car all weekend!! Nice and quiet. Everything you need in the accommodation.

It could have done with a king size duvet on the double bed, I had to buy a blanket to put over the top to keep the duvet in place as we ended up being really cold the first night.

It was in a good location only 5 minutes walk from the town centre. It was a quiet street. The flat was well furnished and equipped.

2 keys would have been good though - my husband played golf and I went out sight seeing - but we could not both have a key. Blinds were a wee bit annoying to put up and down (Roman blinds!) - very first world problems.

Easy to use, easy to find. Nice and modern well designed, exceptionally clean. White fluffy towels and bedding. Outside space is a bonus with an apartment. Welcome pack was very welcome and had local products in (some don't do this and it is real disappointment after a long trip)

Problem with the gas boiler on first night - normally that would not be a problem in late July, but the weather was cold and damp that day/night. We contacted hosts the next morning and they had the problem resolved within an hour, so hats off to them for that!

Apartment is very well furnished with all modern accessories and more - Location is central for all amenities in the area - few mins walk to town centre, shops etc.

These are very picky points. Parking on the street was always possible, but not always close to the property. Both the dishwasher and washing machine could be updated to be more eco friendly - the washing cycles for both are quite long. There was no caffetiere - which would have been nice. But these are just gripes. The property met our expectations and we had a great stay

Location - size of rooms, the guide was very helpful. Communications with the host were clear and unambiguous. All the facilities worked with no problems.
