The house was very spacious and it was clean. We stayed for one night and it was fine.

The front garden was scruffy and parking in the road a bit of a nightmare and had to keep looking out for a spot near the house. Heating was a bit hit and miss as well and there wasn't many kitchen utensils and no tea towels to dry up anything.

It was ideally situated for my work trip to Maidstone and was easy to find. Keys were easy to collect and ready on time. Good tv and comfortable sofa

We are struggled a bit to sort the heating. Also there was quite a strong smell of cannabis present in the accommodation

Parking on road.. We managed to park right outside the property when we arrived but later in the evening was a bit hit & miss. Outside - first impressions on arriving didn't match expectations as garden area at front of the property needs a bit of TLC. Once inside the house was great - exactly as photos, as I said lovely & clean. I know you're not spending time in front garden but it could put some people off.

Inside of the property was very clean. Lovely of hosts to leave tea, coffee etc & selection of cold drinks. Plenty of space & big bedrooms. Queries answered really quickly by hosts.

Luxury isn’t the word i’d use to describe it. From the front, many people have reviewed the garden, so I won’t go into too much detail, but suffice to say it didn’t lead to a good first impression. Struggled to get the door open initially and later found out I locked myself out because you need the key to open the door, handle doesn’t do anything even if you have the door unlocked. Kitchen is adequate although there wasn’t a lot in the way of utensils. Upstairs, the bathroom hasn’t seen any modernisation. The bath is a small tub with a shower connected to the taps. Usually not a problem except for the fact that there’s nowhere to hold the shower up high, so hoses down and dropped shower into the bath to lather up. Beds are rock hard!! It was in the middle of the hot spell and there was no airflow through the property. We went hunting for some fans to assist, but found an upstairs cupboard with towels, an ironing board and iron and a downstairs cupboard full of letters, presumably addressed to the owner.

The living and dining room area was lovely.

Very run down especially front garden . Few utensils in kitchen , no plug for bath, hard beds and needed a bit more decoration. Also unrepaired water damage in kitchen ceiling . No outdoor bins .

Water leaking through ceiling of kitchen from the bathroom above, creating a really bad odour in kitchen. Advised owner on checkout that we’d put a saucepan there to catch leaks, clearly they knew there was a problem from photos posted from the review 17 June. And the many air fresheners were to try to deal with the odour but caused me to be sick with migraines from the overpowering perfume smell. It would have been passable if not for the leak, mould/damp smell and the fact that we couldn’t have a proper shower or bath. No bath plug, just a plug with a hole filled through it that let the water out. shower hose not attached to the wall, so the only option was to stand in the tub and hose off. Hot water worked fine after asking for assistance from owner, no written instructions anyway about how to use anything in the house. Washing machine - it worked but the door is jammed to the point I had to struggle to open it and hurt my arm in the process, as the advice from owner was just “open the door”. powder compartment full of old powder and water. Screw/hinge is loose and needs fixing to open it properly. Front “garden” had rubbish strewn through long grass. Glad we didn’t have a car as there was nowhere to park. Back garden had weeds coming through the fake grass and a pile of cigarette butts not cleaned up near back door. If we could have stayed elsewhere we would have, had to stick it out and keep windows open to have fresh air. Linen and towels clean, but beds hard and uncomfortable.

wifi worked well, close enough to the train station and shops.

should not be listed as a luxury 3 bed house, it’s in the middle of a run down housing estate, overgrown garden, extremely old basic council type kitchen and the bathroom must be leaking water as the kitchen roof was sagging, filling the paint with water and dripping on the kitchen floor. didn’t dare use the bath in case it collapsed as the leak showing in the kitchen was directly below it. car parking is street side, and very narrow you have to mount the pavement so I had to park further down the street and spent the night worried that I’d have no wheels left in the morning.

Our first impressions of the house were pretty disappointing as the grass in the front garden was  very long. The bin was overflowing and smelly the house inside was to match, words cannot describe how disgusting this property is, advertised as a luxury, three bed house with free parking. Joke!

that was exactly nothing to like about this property booking.com, need to take it down immediately.

we asked for a cot but unfortunately it could not be arranged on time, also there were only 3 towels provided for our family of 5 (others were damp from cleaning)

very clean, well kept and organised. great communication with Kay . there were lots of things provided such as bathroom essentials and kitchen equipment. there is a tv with Netflix which kept the kids occupied in the morning. quiet road and easy access to the sites of Kent.

There was not adequate heating as the system was off and could not be switched on properly. Even after the owner came to "sort" it it was not really controllable. The bathroom floor was grubby and there was only a hand held shower, nowhere to clip it to the wall and no screen or curtain. The house stank of chemical "air fresheners" which were nauseating and all-pervading. There was no hand towel or tea towel in the kitchen and someone had put away crockery that was wet. Bathroom sink didn't drain properly, and even the hot water was erratic, mostly cold. Upstairs lavatory was difficult to flush and downstairs lavatory had broken bolt so could not be locked. The bedrooms lacked sufficient furniture for putting clothes and cases on. There was no proper privacy in the main living room as it was closely overlooked from the street and had no net curtains. The free parking was not properly explained and we had to guess where to park.

Such an incredible place, A large,stylish cosy house. it had everything we needed either within the house or nearby. very nice and quiet area and so perfect place to relax. we can’t wait to revisit. Highly recommended.
