Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

MalaysiaThe room is inside a building which has a lounge on the ground floor called the Bocca lounge and the staff there were extremely rude and unkind towards my family while we waited there for a bit for the owner of this place to come give us the keys to the room. The staff members kept saying that we were making customers uncomfortable without giving any reason as if we had any choice to wait elsewhere since this lounge was quite literally the ground floor of the building. Very bad start to our holiday and for some reason they kept 'forgetting' we were staying in the room upstairs and continued to trouble us for identification everytime we left and returned to the place. They also insisted there were no rooms to stay upstairs at one point, completely baffling us 😑😑😑

AustraliaProperty is in the 4th floor. There are 2 lifts and two sets of stairs. There are narrow stairs to get into the property . If you are with luggage it will be a struggle. Property is not airconditioned as advertised . A portable aircon is setup in the bedroom only. It is next to the bed and noise will not let you sleep at night. There was a fan provided but it was broken. Not replaced even after asking the host. Think twice if you are going to stay here during summer. Windows are not sound proof and if you stay here during weekend, there is continues noise from road. Infront of the property is no stopping zone.

United KingdomThe lifts- absolute nightmare. No health and safety concern to guest hallway packed out with bags, and you need to walk over them to get up the stairs. We had so many bags due alto attendingna wedding and the host dis not help us at all. In fact, we were staying outside the apartment for over an hour, waiting on the host The apartment is not like on the photos, I less it's nicely furnished basic but its not like the photos. The photos are very deceiving- as the hallway photos are taken downstairs where the nightclub is. The apartment wasn't properly clean it was just OK Aircon is ducktaped together - also had to fix it as the tube wasn't even connected to it, we only realised when we got back after our first day out and the room was.like a sauna due to this. Asked for late check out in April when I booked it - then I was told I need to check out at 11am instead of 5pm which thrown our last day totally off and cost me an absolute fortune to use lockers as we had plans for the last day- and on the first place my late check out was confirmed and it was one of the reasons I booked this place

NetherlandsA lot of stairs to reach to room, lifts were very unhandy placed directly in front of the stairs. You have to be very careful otherwise you can fall of the stairs. Not suited for people with trouble walking. Nice room, a bit on the small side. The biggest issue was the cleanliness of this apartment. We had really smelly towels and bed sheets. Due to the fact we could not use the smelly towels, we had to borrow towels from my friend living in London. Cleanliness could be very much approved in the apartment. Also the guy checking us in and the cleaning lady were a bit rude.

United KingdomAlthough secure, I thought the front door could be fitted better. It was too small for the frame, banged in the night and wasn't great at keeping put the occasional noise from the opposite apartment or hallway.
Great location and a good view of South Kensington. Apartment was modern, clean and fresh. Everything was provided include a great range of cleaning products which is rare in apartment stays. I travel to this area regularly for work and will use this as my go to hotel/apartment from now on.

SingaporeBeing by the main road with no double glazing window meant we could here all the noise. We stayed at apt No. 1 right above the Bocca lounge facing the main road. Weekdays , not so bad but weekends the noise can be unbearable till 2am. Also noise from the construction work at the museum across the road.
Excellent location. Mins to Tube station. Short walking distance to Harrods, lots of cafes/shops/restaurants nearby. Great facilities, well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed and sofa bed.
