We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

No fault of the owner but local takeaway choices limited and the pizza place in the village was expensive with rude staff and awful food which was frankly inedible! If staying here then pick up food on way home or get ingredients I. to cook decent stuff

United KingdomAdvertised as a pet friendly cottage but no where for 2 dogs to use the toilet other than taking off the property. This is impractical last thing at night and first thing in the morning having to get changed out of night wear into daytime clothing. Hot tub timings to restrictive. Check in 4 pm filling time for hot tub 11/2 hours and then 3 hours to heat. Quiet times being observed only able to use for 1/2 hour first night . As not able to light the log burner until 4pm second night only had 3 hours to use which is really annoying. If check in was 2 hours earlier the first day this would allow longer use. Smallest shower I’ve ever used and we have a touring caravan. Sitting space in kitchen uncomfortable and a waste of space.

United KingdomImpractical for sitting and eating, the bar stools are to high compared to the bar, we stood to eat out meals. Easily fixed with hight adjustable stool, trays so you can sit in the room or a pull out table. But wouldn't put me off staying again.
Beautiful location, very clean, cosy and modern. Lots of nice little touches, throw blanket, cosy chair and coffee machine in the bedroom, so much to like.Great communications and easy to contact with quick response if you have questions or need assistance.

United KingdomHill Garth Cottage is in a great location for exploring the local area and had everything we needed. Literally a minutes walk from the centre of Wooler and 5 mins walk to the excellent Ad Gefrin Distillery. Half an hour drive to Alnwick and Bamburgh. Loved our stay here - well equipped kitchen and lovely comfy beds. All furnished a high standard. Loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

This is a lovely, spacious home that is nicely decorated and very comfortable. There are pubs, restaurants, and a Co-op nearby and dozens of historic sites and beaches within a short drive.

United KingdomNot even a fault really but a personal preference, the mattress is very very soft, so I struggled to get comfortable I prefer a firmer mattress but it did not spoil our stay and will be booking to return!
From opening the door we loved the cottage it was immaculate, so light and airy, very modern but very homely too, we arrived much sooner than anticipated and it wasn’t a problem, we were able to check in sooner which was great, super dog friendly which is amazing as our two border collies loved it. Superb location 60 seconds away from the town centre.. the wood fired hot tub was amazing, total relaxation lying looking at the stars after a days hiking! A great wedding anniversary well spent, we have recommended Hill Garth to all our friends
