My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Skiddaw - Lyton Lodge. It was a short distance to the town centre, and a great base for our stay in Keswick. Rich and Trish were lovely and very hospitable. They had thought of everything you could possibly need for a self-catered stay and even provided amenities including tea/coffee and milk. My partner is allergic to animals, so to find such a beautiful studio in a prime location with a no pet tolerance was amazing for us and is something that we don’t see often. We hope to return for a longer period next time, and will absolutely be recommended this studio to both friends and family :)

This is our second stay at the Lynton Lodge Studios, and it was perfect again. They're lovely studios, and it's great to have home comforts to come back to after a day on the fells rather than a B&B room. The location and contact from staff were great.

Only one tiny point I would mention - in the Skiddaw apartment, the bedside units were only little tiny heart shaped stools - it would have been brilliant if there could have been bigger units that were the height of the bed or more and include shelves or drawers so more storage for clothes, books, makeup bags etc

To be fair there was nothing more I could have asked for from an accommodation, we got our key and was pretty much left to ourselves which was perfect for me.

Location was great, short walk into town where you can find buses to take you all around the area, food places or countless outdoor shops. Lots of local walks without the need for transport. The small kitchen was a godsend. Local prices are a bit on the higher side so if your travelling on a budget having an oven is a big help. The heating made our stay much comfier, all day up and down frozen terrain to return to a cosy warm room was perfect.

Location was perfect, just a quick walk (like 2 minutes) into Town and parking was perfect for out T5 camper. Suite was perfectly clean, comfy and warm. Some lovely touches with chocolates and plenty of coffee! Nice to read all the comments in the visitor books that say the same :) Will be back and highly recommend.

Absolutely nothing to complain about.

The hosts were helpful above and beyond. So thank you Rich and Trish. I've often been keswick over the last 5 years or so and have to say this was the best view I've ever had ,looking directly at catbells . The studio was very cosy ,warm and comfortable. Lovely nights sleeps. WiFi was good and TV great size . Ten min walk into centre and Spar shop right next door. I started walk to Catbells and Ard crags from there and easy access towards them.

This was our annual anniversary trip to Lynton Lodge. Lynton Lodge was the first place we stayed together 6 years ago in January and we love it so much we have just kept coming back! We even chose Lynton Lodge as our Honeymoon destination two years ago. It has all you need and more and Trish and Rich are the perfect hosts. They even left us an anniversary gift knowing that we stay with them every year

Location was great, right next to a petrol station as i was driving. It had its own parking area, which helped. Location wise, was close to town as well...either a 4min drive or a 7min walk.

The accommodation is beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The location is great...central but also just away from the central hub. Amazing value for money. Chocolates as a welcome gift...what a thoughtful extra! The host was welcoming friendly and helpful. Wonderful array of walking maps and information at the property. All round, just fab!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the studio. The walk into town proved easier than we expected as we had anticipated it being on a steeper hill.

The studio was in a good location with the town centre an easy walk away. We had a parking spot at the studio which was a real bonus for accommodations at Keswick. All in all it was a great little place to stay with everything we needed for a few nights away.

Would have liked a smart TV with catch up & access to Netflix, but that's a personal thing & not a serious criticism.

The studio apartment we had (called catbells) was at the rear of the property with great views of the mountains. The interior space of the studio apartment was good & well appointed. The electric shower worked well, with a good water flow & temperature control. There was ample parking at the front of the property to the extent you could turn the car around in it to exit onto the main road. There is a texaco filling station next door complete with a Spar shop. It's a easy walk into the town.We would certainly stay here again & recommend.

I didn't have problems with anything.

The owners were very understanding and friendly, I was unable to make it up on the planned date but they were very understanding and kept in touch so when I was able to make it, they had the key available for me. The location is perfect, it's a very easy walk in to Keswick and has private parking which made it very easy for me to get around. The property had enough crockery and cutlery for us and was clean and tidy when we arrived. They have the facility to Crome cast things from your laptop to the TV which meant we could watch whatever we wanted on streaming services etc. Choosing the mountain view room gave a great view with a little decked area to sit and watch the sheep and rabbits over the wall. There is complimentary tea and coffee etc for when you arrive.
