Entrance from the car park not disability friendly, steps only, also very sticky door. Lift not always responding. No covered area for smokers/ vapers.

We liked the location and overall feel of the hotel. The meals were very good, parking was a bonus, comfortable bar and lounge area. Two members of staff were particularly friendly and helpful, namely Kacey and nikki ( sorry if spelt wrongly).

I have no complaints except it was tricky to find in the dark and only did I see the signage when driving up and down the road a few times.

The location was quiet and the garden lovely. The hotel is quaint and tidy with lots of history attached. The staff were competent and so friendly, it had a homely feel and the room was clean and comfortable

I think the breakfast was not very good. No fresh fruit on display or fresh juices. The drinks on display were very sweet and the cranberry juice I decided to take just tasted like sweet pink water. It’s a shame as it’s a lovely property with lovely staff but the breakfast was a real let down. My sausages also were not cooked well so had to leave them.

The room I had was lovely, light and clean. The towels were lovely: soft and smelt divine. The staff really were very polite and courteous. The hotel is well situated.

The breakfast, possibly had been cooked hours ago, wasn't eatable sadly, but coffee/juice was lovely. Had to go into town for breakfast instead .

I found the single bed too small other than that it was good.

Having stayed at this Hotel on Three occasions I find the overall experience to be perfect as my office is just 500 yards away.

My complements to the cook/chef for breakfast it was superb. Each morning the standard did not drop, and I was staying for 8 breakfasts. I also had dinner too, again what a great chef. Great meals enjoyed them all. As I hate to cook, I was in heaven. I had a really lovey room and because it was hot on my arrival, I used the table fan and opened windows for a cross breeze. The bed was very comfortable. Plus thank you housekeeping for making up the room each day and keeping all so clean. The location of the hotel is very favorable to walking to town.

The corridors and bedroom in the section I stayed were "tired" and the bed was both small and not especially comfortable.

Easy to find, car park is private and seemed secure enough, and the hotel is attractive enough. The staff on the bar during the evening were very hospitable.

Ìn-room information about how to access Wi-Fi was lacking. There is a lot of car parking but the spaces are small and closely spaced. At this time of year cars are covered in pine needles from the tree canopy.

Breakfast choice was comprehensive. Staff very attentive.

The fire alarm going off before 6 am ! (manager burnt his toast!)

Some of the staff seemed a little clueless, however, some were also excellent! The tall eccentric chap was great!

Good secure car park and location. Lovely building. The garden is well kept, a nice place to sit out and have a drink, weather permitting.
