Pool very cold, then closed one day. Mixed messages about dining options with dog. Dog friendly restaurant closed for duration of stay. Apartment a bit tired and dated was cold on first night.

    Location, food was nice.

The apartments are extremely dated. They desperately need upgraded. They smell musty! They should show photos of the bathrooms as I wouldn’t have booked if I’d seen more photos.

The location and scenery is absolutely stunning. The grounds of the resort are gorgeous too

The accommodation was in need of an upgrade. It looked drab and dark. Fridge didn’t cool down and we reported this. There was also a smell coming from the kitchen sink which we also reported. As it was raining we tried to watch a movie on DVD player which didn’t work but this was replaced quickly which was great for the children.

The property was spacious though in need of an upgrade. Apartment we had had a lovely outlook.

Apartments need a little attention especially in the bathrooms and balcony areas.

Location great with fantastic views across Loch Ard. Apartments spacious, well appointed but need a little updating. Facilities at the hotel and leisure centre were good and something for all ages.

I did not like no signal on the phone. no wi-fi all weekend. the problem was not solved. When traveling with children, parents also want to have some time off. mold on windows everywhere, cobwebs in windows need cleaning. I don't think I'll go back there again.

I liked the park, a lot of greenery, well-kept lawns and the surrounding area. silence, beautiful views. a picnic area on the grass, benches and coffee tables outside with a beautiful view. In leisure centre a changing room for families with children to enter the swimming pool.

Check in with Rebecca at reception....was advised that no other apartments are available all booked. After i had requested previously 4 weeks prior to a view of water. The ground floor apartment was not up to standard in the cleanliness, so I was not staying there for this reason also no view due to trees. After this, I was moved only to find out that most of the apartments were empty. Nearly 7 at night before I got settled and check-in is from 5 So time wasted. Not great customer service, only at check in this is my only fault along with the musty apartment. After this reception was good and was happy with my stay. When you are on your own first point of contact It is important to me. Staff in general were pleasant and helpful Defo going back now. I have been and seen this wonderful setting

    - Our lodge was very dated and had some mould (there was even a mushroom growing out from one of the bathroom tiles!) - Silly little things that just added up to be disappointing considering the money we paid (clock wasn’t working - easily fixed with a new battery, wallpaper was coming off the wall, walls were in need of a paint with some dirty marks). - Restaurant prices are astronomical.

    - Great location - Friendly staff - Lovely grounds - Sauna in lodge

A very underwhelming/rude welcome from the main receptionist upon arrival and on a second occasion during the trip. Food prices in the restaurant were extortionate.

Limted hotwater in 2 of the bathrooms, one small electric shower cubical with a broken handset. The accommodation needs a bit of an update.

Stunning location on the banks of the Loch, the Hotel and grounds were enjoyable. Lounge bar ideal for a relaxing drink. We stayed in a traditional apartment with lots of space, well-appointed kitchen for a self catering stay and a surprise sauna in one of the bathrooms.

Our apartment had no hot water the 4 nights we stayed so we took showers in the spa but it meant we had none for washing up. We thought it was a storage heater so waited for it to come but it never did. On a few occasions the outside smelt very strong of cannabis, including when on our balcony. When checking out someone had charged £48 from the bar to our room, and felt uncomfortable when questioned about it. I really love coming here no matter the weather but these issues were a real downside this time.

The pool and spa was amazing as we were able to go whenever we liked. The views from the hotel and the location is everything for us. It is perfect for families, with amazing walks either a short drive or right on the doorstep.

The lodge was very dated and in need of complete refurbishment / redecoration The pool area was closed due to a heating failure - this had happened a few days earlier and no-one notified us in advance. It was only repaired on the morning we left. The more casual dining / drinking area was closed - seasonal hours. The Garden Restaurant dinner menu was expensive and the wine list prices were ridiculous

The location was peaceful and the view from our lodge was spectacular. The lodge was very clean and had everything we required for our self-catering break. The DVD rental option from reception helped to pass an evening
