We were a bit disappointed that we didn’t know the pool was closed and another guest said we could have used an alternative pool during our trip but this didn’t spoil the fun we had .

The accommodation was exceptional and spotless, fresh beds lots of towels great outdoor space .the staff could not help us enough we will definitely be back soon .

Only one negative and that is the cabins windows etc . A good jet wash would sort that .needs cleaned . But that’s all

Staff were excellent good people and great hear Scottish accents 😉🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Perfect location . Only couple hours away from everything. Isle of Skye . Ullapool etc . Which we did day trips . . Loved the ducks at the resort made me smile a lot 😊

There is poor communication with the staff. I asked them to put up a simple birthday note, and even though they said they would, they never did. Additionally, a man I spoke to on the phone before my stay was very negligent. During our stay, the pool was closed (we were allowed to use another pool in Avimore), and the facilities in general were either closed or in a sorry state. We have been to several hotels at different Mc Donald´s resort, and overall we really like them. However, they all have in common the fact that they let the place deteriorate. The deterioration of the public or entertainment spaces is evident, and these places cannot be used or enjoyed.

The cabins are beautiful and in excellent condition. The kitchen and bathroom have been remodelled and are very well maintained. The beds are good, and everything is very clean. The area around the cabins is beautiful. The path around the lake is gorgeous, and the natural world is amazing. There is a nice little playgruond for the little one.

It would have been a definite plus to have some sort of spa/leisure facilities especially swimming pool to keep children’s spirit up.

The location was great, serene & scenic! The lodges ware very good & cosy! For once, it felt like we were staying one with the nature. The property had a bath which was good. There was a minor issue with hot water but staff attended to it promptly. Kitchen was stocked with required utensils & cutlery. Would recommend if you’re a couple looking for a quiet experience.

The outsides need a good clean even if it was a brush down no pool and far to late for checking in at 5pm

The surroundings were breathtaking - from the pond to the forest walks with unexpected outdoor play/climbing equipment for our older children. Fantastic stay!

I was disappointed the leisuse pool was closed for refurbishment but access to a neighbouring pool was offered. The work was due to be complete soon.

the location is wonderful for a quiet holiday with great safe walking for dogs right on the doorstep. The conservatory is a great place to sit and watch the birds and read, if the weather is poor. When we needed some maintenance, the staff immediately fixed it.

The apartment was much larger than we anticipated, The kitchen area was well equipped. Overall much better than some of the reviews on Tripadvisor, we would certainly return.

Not the property’s fault but stay marred by very yappy dog staying next door. Receptionist very polite when I reported it, but the owners had already left.

After checking in at 5pm-by the time we unpacked car to cabin the bar/office area was shut. I think it’s such a lost opportunity of not keeping bar area open until later as we passed several people that evening walking about that would have been possible customers. Probably like me they read reviews so wasn’t surprised it’s not open. Biggest suggestion would be to decorate the rest of the cabin like the small bedroom. It’s been painted neutral and looks wonderful-the double room is out of date with the brown wood.

The whole area surpassed my expectations. I had read all the reviews so was not expecting what we arrived to tbh. Very clean cabin! Comfy beds! Well equipped! Ample towels and even washing up liquid. Very peaceful…overall a lovely couple of nights. Even looking at taking extended family later in the year.
