Shower Room with no view Coffee pods offered only decaffeinated had to request regular coffee pods

Very clean room however sadly no view as overlooks lower roofed buildings and overall looks unsightly. That aside the bed was very big and very comfortable. En-suite was perfectly adequate even if the waterfall style shower had majority of the shower head nozzles blocked providing more of a drizzle than what should have been on offer. Heating system easy to control so even when it got too hot in the night it was easy to regulate that temperature.

Sad about the Caleys’ store as it was the best. Because I grew up there, all my life and lives with parents t. It was John Lewis perfect. This is not the same!

The above over booking fiasco was difficult to fathom and caused a lot of inconvenience. On my last night there was a system failure resulting in no TV and air conditioning. Breakfast on the weekends only began at 8am instead of the usual 7am. As I had a 10.25am flight to catch on Sunday, I had to miss breakfast on that day even though it was paid for. Please note that bookings.com have not refunded me the money for my not being able to stay at this hotel on 23 January due to the over booking!

I received an upgrade to a suite due to the cock up of over booking on 23 January resulting in me having to stay somewhere else.

Mattress dipped in the middle.

The location was fabulous Our room was ready for check-in early. We had the deluxe double room, which overlook the High Street Good quality, bedding, furnishings and bathroom Huge walk-in shower Nice touch of anniversary chocolates Complimentary water, tea and coffee Only downside in the room, was that the mattress dipped in the middle, so we awoke with backache. Breakfast was lovely and varied Superb location on the high We parked in the railway station car park for £10. About a 10 min walk away. Would stay again

The property was perfect for what I needed and accessible to the sites in Windsor as it is only few minutes away to the Castle.

Stayed for 2 nights, the room that I had was spacious, clean and comfortable and the huge bathroom is of good size. The lobby/entrance looks decent and welcoming. They have comfortable sitting areas, couches and fireplace if you want a quiet time to sip coffee or a glass of drink which I really loved during my stay.

The room was very cold when we arrived. The window had been left open. The heating was not very efficient. It took over a day for the room to feel warm.

The lift was a bit rubbish. Barely worked. The breakfast room staff were also very rude. There was a very thick atmosphere at breakfast which was accompanied by a lady barking orders loudly across the room at other staff which meant we left quickly. Reception staff were a bit rude but fine. Bar staff were excellent and a credit to the hotel!

Property was beautiful! In a central location in Windsor and very well kitted out with nice furnishings and lovely rooms.

Nothing really, there was a small mistake on check out where the reception staff were going to have to charge me again because the cashier had not logged my payment the night before which delayed us a few minutes when we were rushing out. But not a big deal and rectified quickly.

Rooms are great, service is good nothing I did not like.

We stayed on a Saturday night. We fancied a night cap, as did several other guests. The bar closed just before 11pm and we were curtly informed by the barman that was it and maybe the night staff might open up again. His nearby colleague, presumably night staff, abruptly told us it would not be re-opened. I would expect later service on a Saturday evening and certainly less abrupt staff from a 4 star hotel. The car parking seemed expensive at £39/night but was very convenient and secure.

The concierge for the car park and the check in staff were courteous and efficient. The room was clean, and well equipped with air conditioning, fridge with complimentary water and good tea/coffee making facilities and other items to make the stay comfortable. The lounge was tasteful and comfortable. The location is excellent for the centre of Windsor and the castle.
