We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

loved the decor absolutely stunning. loved the little touches the personalised welcome card to having robes/slippers and even have a choice of tea or using the nespresso machine which was nice along with the little macaroons. can’t wait to go back and try a different room 🫶🏼🥰🤩

United KingdomBook service was very confusing, and not good, I stressed at the time of booking, that I was paying for 2 rooms as they were guests, I told my guests the rooms were prepaid, only to find my guests were being charged on the morning of departure, so I had to go to the Hotel to sort it out, very embarrassing, even more frustrating that I called the hotel on the night of booking to confirm the details, I will not be going back

The staff were incredibly helpful, the room was lovely and well equipped and we enjoyed our stay so much we asked if we could stay another night. Our room was already booked, but they offered us other options. By the morning they had moved new arrivals around so we could stay in our room, to which we were delighted!

The hotel is nicely finished, the finest in Huddersfield without doubt. The cooked breakfast is beautiful, spot on. Coffee machines in the rooms are great and the bathroom facilities are stylish, with great complementary toiletries. Beds are comfortable, and rooms are too. Staff are lovely and help you out with anything you need. We didn't have dinner this time we stayed, but I'd recommend based on eating there last summer.
