The only thing that would improve it is the lighting on the way up and down to the hotel along the path :)

The location was excellent, beautiful and quiet overlooking the lough. The cottages had everything you needed for a self catering holiday, they were better than I was expecting. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend a stay at the cottages.

Unfortunately due to the winter hours, no staff was on site. The path and roads were extremely icy and dangerous a few family members and other guests had fallen. It was extremely icy on the steps leading to the cottages which made it difficult to get up and down. I understand we can't control the weather but I would recommend a communal grit box on the grounds for guests.

The stay was very nice and comfortable. Great location, the cottages had everything we needed. Beautiful views.

Bedrooms a little outdated. Nowhere to plug in hairdryer near mirror. Sinks in the bedrooms unnecessary, more dressing table space would be better. No towel rail/ hook in bathroom.

Everything you needed for a self catering break was in the cottage. Great views from living room window. Bedding and towels were spotless.

The beds weren’t the comfiest. We were provided with a travel cot but no mattress was included so we had to improvise.

The views are amazing and the area was quiet and secure. The kids loved it.

Would have liked cleaning products for kitchen / bathroom. We were there for 6 nights so place needed a quick clean so I purchased some. No big issue but most self catering accommodation leave a small amount for you.

Enjoyed the peace & tranquility (apart from when the jet skis appeared!) Loved watching the ducks & swans from the window of cottage. Loved that we could bring the dog.

The greeting was not at all friendly, the accommodation was disappointing, bed hard and uncomfortable, the games room was closed and when the children asked they were told it would open in 2028 !!! there was washing up liquid, not salt or pepper, no milk in the fridge, tea or coffee in the cottage. The reception was closed Sunday so we were not able to communicate with anyone during our stay. The cost was very expensive and not at all value for money, too much for what was being offered

The location was good and the views from the accomadation

Bring extra toilet roll to the cottage. We didn’t leave the grounds and the cottage only supply 2 toilet rolls. That’s just a heads up, everything else was perfect

The bedding was uncomfortable. Double bed and two singles. Also thought when we booked we had a lough view cottage (full lough view) only to find out on arrival at reception that we had a partial lough view cottage. The receptionist informed us that all cottages have a lough view and had we requested this. So you would then have to request this even though your perception from their literature would suggest you already had this!

We were self catering. The location is excellent. Very scenic and quiet. Hot water and shower were very good.
