We would definitely come again but only for the use to the spa if we weren’t wanting to be in our room much.

Our room was a little outdated and small for how much we paid. The floor boards creaked when ever we walked on them and the bed was very small and we could hear all the other guests in the rooms next to us playing loud music till god knows what hour.

We loved the spa all though when using the outside infinity pool it was not as hot and a section of the jets weren’t working. We love the indoor pool and that it’s open late. We like the front decking to sit and have a drink and the covered section to the side

No lounge area with a bar open. For a Spa hotel we expected to be able to sip a drink and read a book on a comfortable chair, but the only bar open for the 4 days we were there was in the restaurant with high stools for seating. We disliked the black hard thin towels provided in our room. (Navy blue in the Spa). They did not feel warm or soft, and impossible to know if clean. The room was small for a twin room. Only one chair, tiny wardrobe, no hooks to hang damp coats. Ironing board but no iron! Very few sockets to charge devices. Pillows were uncomfortable, but mattress OK. Room clean. Water provided on first night but thereafter had to pay for additional bottles of water. This felt mean considering we were paying over £100 per night without breakfast or evening meal! The hooks on the back of the bathroom door were broken. No shelf in shower- had to place shampoo etc on floor. My sister is slightly disabled. We didn't mention this when booking as she can normally manage, but the poor facilities in the room were an issue for her.

Lovely setting in Surrey hills. The waiter, Mo, in restaurant, extremely friendly and helpful. Pool facilities OK, but no staff to show me where to get a towel or describe what facilities were available ( I had to ask a guest in the pool.)

Charged 7quid for robes even though we used facilities and had spa treatment..it should say that .it does in qanda about this on website but it doesnt state that if you use spa you get gown free.but if you use spa before your treatment and want gowns its 7quid.but if you have a facial treatment you dont get robe, towel or water ? Who want to use spa after facial? Tell that to the male management..we still got charge 21quid for gown..it the principal. Would not go back..we waited 2and half hours for a snack in our room as cook misunderstood us and thought it was for our breakfast.so receptionist guybrought it up..told us service was complimentary..what we thpught..but checking out we were charge 45 quid for our sandwiches ..eventually the guy took ot ofc our bill..but those things make a difference. Shouldnt have to argue..not going back.

Ground staff room facilities all good.food good.hairdryer in room.spa treatments were good

The dining area was a bit flashy for my taste, but the decor in the rest of the hotel was nice. one of the two showers in the pool area not working but it wasn't too busy when we were there so not a problem

Great value, lovely staff couldn't be more helpful, super spa facilities with outdoor jacuzzi and a good sized indoor pool for a proper swim

Hotel still looking tired even after a refresh, we have visited The Manor/Newlands Corner Hotel for events/functions on many occasions. Queued to Check In behind 3/4 other guests as reception could only cope with checking in one guest booking at a time. Bedroom was functional but furniture could do with upgrading. Shower screen did not stop water going all over the bathroom floor. Not enough bar staff available before and during meal at charity function. Food at Function good. Restaurant very busy at breakfast and there was a shortage of bowls/plates. Cooked Breakfast though was very good, and hot. Spa was busy with many couples/groups staying for Spa Breaks, outside Jacuzzi only working on one side. Steam Room working well but Sauna cool with no water bucket or monitored by spa staff. Queued to Check Out when leaving. Hotel more expensive than others in the area with same facilities.

Hefty charge to borrow a robe for the pool area, none in room. Cooked Breakfast on Friday morning was not made to order or provided self serve buffet style so there was no choice in what we were given. It wasn’t very hot either. Saturday hot breakfast was buffet self serve which was better. A lot of stains on the communal carpets

Good leisure facilities, lots of parking, good restaurant reasonably priced, friendly staff, ironing board and iron in room

No lift, lots of steps, bedclothes on the double bed were dirty and should probably have been thrown out (resolved quickly). Charged for too many breakfasts (resolved quickly). Fire alarm and evacuation on second night (not hotel's fault), but communication non-existent. General attention to detail - TV wasn't ready to be turned on - I had to follow the cable spur back to a switch over the desk in order to turn it on, then the batteries in the remote were dead. No sockets next to either bed, so medical equipment could not be used. Variety of pastries at breakfast should be greater.

Main vestibule and restaurant area very colourful and pleasant. Our family room - 27 - was big with a lovely parkland view and a balcony. Leisure facilities really good and - other than one poolside shower - in a good state of repair. Gym is very good - selection of free weights, resistance, cardio and aerobic kit. Outside leisure area seems to have recently improved. Sunday lunch really tasty, coped well with a large booking. Wi-fi worked fine.USB sockets for phone / tablet charging very good.

Charged twice on credit card but rectified promptly once pointed out over the phone but would have at least expected an apology for their error.

Our view was meant to be a garden view but was a roof with an extractor. The other side of the headboard was the corridor with a fire door which was banged repeatedly by guesses until after midnight. We asked to be moved and had a much better room. Very quite.

    Rural location, facilities.

Generally the rooms are nice but the rooms can get quite cold and do have some signs of wear and tear. There is a large drafty gap under the doors. The walls an also really quite thin and you can hear people speaking almost word for word if you are sitting in your room without the TV on! Beds are ok but I think the pillows need replacing.

Nice quite location. Spa is lovely - especially the outdoor jacuzzi! Overall a well presented property!

No price given for breakfast. Had 4 hours sleep due to someone in the room above me pacing back and forth until the early hours the pacing also caused our ceiling to squeak and creak which added to a loud TV sound coming from somewhere. I popped down to reception and asked for earplugs which I've never used before which i couldn't use because they felt tight. Our room was cold because the small print was really small so couldn't work it out. The young gentleman on reception said I couldn't book my evening meal for 6.30 because it was fully booked which I found strange due to being a Tuesday. He told me 6pm which meant I had to change my diary. I asked for 9 am breakfast so I could have a swim but was told 8.30. So again I felt deflated.

Food, health spa, gardens even the indoor plants, cleanliness are excellent.

Understand the room I was in didn't have a lot of room but a desk for working would of been a bonus..
