We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

South KoreaThe room was not nicely kept the decor was peeling, faded and In disrepair. It was cold when I got in, despite it being snow storm, the radiator was off. This was blamed on the cleaner. As a result I went to the bar to order a drink and wait for my bf. When he arrived he asked when the bar would close, he was told they would not be open late. After 20-30 minutes he went down and it was locked up. The bathroom had no soap, just antibacterial hand soap. The toilet roll holder was broken, I had one set of towels despite stating we were a couple. Also just one cup. No attention was paid to adding comfort. The door had obviously been broken into at one time and the wood around the lock was worn leaving me uncomfortable to sleep. I would not recommend this hotel.

United KingdomToilet had human feaces all round the outside, mould all round bath. Bathroom door wouldnt shut. Flakes of paint falling off everywhere, round door frames were a hazard. Couldnt see any staff anywhere, no cover round electrical box. No drawers or wardrobe in rooms. Mirror on shelf in bathroom looked like it had been used for snorting substances! Dirty socks found in bed they stated had been changed already by house keeping. Pubic hair found on pillows.

United KingdomPaid extra for a sea view. Window was so dirty we could not see out. Bathroom was in a terrible state. Dirty bath, almost all paint was off the door and skirting. In a desperate need of redecoration. Just a shame we agreed to leave our phones at home as we could not get a pic. I suggest booking.com go take a look for themselves. Couldn’t have the window open as the main smoking point for the bar was under our window.

Noisy generator/large fan that started and stopped all night Fire alarm went off at 0645 for no apparent reason Have to run taps/shower for 15 mins to get nearly hot water No interest at all when I informed morning staff about TV Fortunate that it wasn't a hot night as radiator stuck on!

United KingdomDifficult to find the hotel as the "Marine Hotel" sign on the building is missing some letters. Lift is not working. Hotel in need of redecoration. We did not use the shower as looked filthy. I won't be back to this hotel. Hotel rooms looked nice on the photos, the reality is completely different.

United KingdomThe fact that the lift didn’t work despite me trying to check in advance. There was a gluten free menu yet for breakfast I paid £12.50 for 2 eggs and bacon. There was no hot water. The room was dated and I booked a superior double room which had absolutely nothing superior in. The bed was barely big enough for me and my partner. Also even if there was a view of the sea, ya couldn’t see it as the windows are too high! Seagulls were knocking at our window but that’s not the hotels fault but all in all not worth the money! Also when I struggled up the stairs, a young girl asked me if I needed help to which I heard one of the staff tell her to leave us !
