Barring one day of continuous rain, absolutely nothing to not like about our stay.

Excellent reception, Dave was a lovely helpful person, with great knowledge of the area. The room was very clean and comfortable with everything needed for our stay. The breakfast was beautiful and a great start to the day. Would highly recommend and looking forward to many future stays at the Mariners.

Breakfast was very nice and was quickly served. The location was quiet but with a few local pubs nearby and not too far for town centre and beach. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Lovely clean. Comfortable room. Tea/coffee making facilities with plentiful supply of tea coffee biscuits etc. Nice hot shower with toiletries provided. Soft fluffy towels., Friendly, helpful host. Handy for the beach

The ensuite facilities were a bit cramped. It was very narrow between the WC and the shower screen.

It’s very spacious and our room was nice. The location was good.

The room is a little bit small, and the parking space "first comes first served."

Good position of the hotel, clean, comfortable, near the seaside, park,shops, friendly atmosphere.

If I had to say anything negative.. Would like a little more choice for the buffet & hot food Given time to think what I wanted for breakfast as was asked even before I had sat down ( understand its a busy time & need to get on with breakfast) And if you are a light sleeper probably the downstairs room isn't for you . As the breakfast room is right next to the room & you can hear them getting the room ready on the morning & ppl talking in there at breakfast. ( But must say apart from early morning it's a quiet B&B. But that's all really if I did nit pick And that's only my opinion if I was very fussy.

First time at a B&B and wasn't a disappointment. Host...was very friendly had time to chat asked how your day was and if we needed anything. Even called me when we where out for the day to tell us about parking spaces. Couldn't ask for a better host. Room.. lovely room very clean fresh. We had a downstairs room fridge, tv, lamps, big mirrors, wardrobe. Shower, loo, sink with lights & shaving point. Also towels. Choice of teas coffees, bottle water. Also a little easter gift in our room very nice touch. Bed was very comfortable. Lovely nights sleep very quiet at night. Room was big with high ceilings. Can be turned into a family room if needed. Breakfast.. lovely food had a choice of a few hot dishes. Buffet was yogurt, toast, bananas, oranges, cereals. Also different tea, coffee juice, water. Location.. a bit of a walk to the town say 10 15mins.. bit steep walking bk up the st. but there is everything you need day and night in the town . Weatherspoons, lrish bar, primark..so many food places..Beautiful beach . The boat trips are really good. We did the speed boat around the rocks see the dolphins if your very lucky was amazing. there is a rd train that you can get to town from the same st as the B&b . Beautiful walk to Paignton if you like walking. Train station not far. There is a pub right by the B&B if you didn't want to venture far ..doesn't look much but its friendly Has karaoke quizzes bingo on . Food is very nice there and clean. There's a few shops for a paper coffee shop bakery right there . Chippy. If you fancy a Chinese you have to try the tasty house very nice food. If you have mobility issues this is a good place.. as the room is downstairs has a ramp outside so no steps. And room is spacious. ( Only thing is no had rails if you needed them)

Very comfortable and super clean room. Had a complimentary box of chocolates left in the room for Easter. Complimentary tea and coffee together with 2 bottles of water. Very thoughtful. Breakfast was delicious and Dave the owner couldn’t do enough for us.

Beautiful b&b, the host was super friendly. Room was very modern and clean, the whole place was clean. Breakfast room amazing, choice of breakfasts and a buffet also. Fresh coffee ☕️ and juice 😋 Can't wait to return.

Dave could not have been a better host, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. A very comfortable stay in exceptionally clean surroundings with a very tasty breakfast.

Dave ( owner) could not have been any nicer. He was attentive, friendly, and professional. We booked a couple of nights, B&B. The room was super clean, nicely decorated, with tea & coffee making facilities. There are lots of hangers in the wardrobe, which is always a bonus! Breakfast was superb. Great choice of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts and a good hot breakfast selection. The full English was superb! All in all a really fantastic place to stay with location only being a 5 minute walk to the beach and 15 mins from Town centre. We will be using again.

Could not put this b@b down great for the price.

Could not ask for better the room was great for the price we payed the food was great.the man could not be more helpful with tell us where to go on the Saturday. Will be back later in the year.

Dave the host was very welcoming.There was a good choice of breakfast which was cooked perfectly.The mariners was situated a small walk away from the sea front which had many shops and restaurants to cater for all tastes. If you wanted a driving free day out a bus or ferry could be taken from the harbour to other places near by.Brixham and Dartmouth are a nice day out.
