Room was smaller than I have had before. Can't open the windows - which sometimes makes me feel claustrophobic. Turned the temp way down and that helped.

Arrived at just after 10am, we were given a free room upgrade and the room was ready for check in. Room 619 had mini bar, Dyson hairdryer and ghd gold straighteners to use! Room was spacious. No view, but we were never in the room long enough to care. Aircon/heating worked as it should. Toiletries in the bathroom were lovely. Complimentary slippers and dressing gowns to use. Beautiful clean towels. Comfy bed & pillows! Location is right next to Dungeon, Waverley Station and a short walk to everywhere else! Hotel was clean, loft bar was lovely with great views, all staff were friendly and always happy to see you. Would have loved to stayed longer and we won't stay anywhere else when we return again for a wknd away!

Location was a minute away from the train station, by the time we got Google maps working we realised we were there! Staff were friendly and helpful. Champagne on arrival was a great touch. Lovely rooms.

We drove to Edinburgh and there is not a lot of parking in the city so we had to wheel our bags down the street for a few hundred feet.

Modern, clean, well-presented building. Surprisingly spacious room with lots of nice touches in styling and the complimentary minibar items.

Nothing it was perfect.

What a gem of place to stay. Right next to the train station. Greeted at reception with a glass of fizz. The room provided everything you needed. Love the idea of the sink in the hall separate from the shower and toilet. Has a complimentary mini bar with a carton of milk for your coffee. Lots of other goodies too. Staff in the bar area very attentive. Wonderful experience, we will be back.

Fabulous hotel. Centrally located, spotlessly clean, great facilities and extras in the room (good hairdryer, straighteners, steamer, gowns and slippers plus a good selection of local drinks and nibbles). Terrace bar had a lovely atmosphere. Asked for two rooms beside each other which we got.

There was nails on my bed sheets Bathroom sink outside next to entrance door which is long distance and not practical, maybe if hotel cannot accommodate sink inside they should install bidet or make sink closet

The location of the Hotel was perfect for us very near to Waverley Train Station, on arrival 1140 our room was ready which was a real bonus, we were offered a glass of champagne which was a very nice touch, champagne offered with our breakfast as well, the breakfast choices were great and good quality, to behest we couldn't find any faults with this hotel and we would recommend to our friends.

Our room was facing the back of a hostel and steps. There are no curtains for privacy you have to literally close solid wooden shutters which cuts out any natural light. We was told that the Windows had blacked out glass however this is not accurate. When walking around at the back street we could see directly in our room so beware. Apart from this we loved everything.

The location and the general atmosphere once inside the hotel is is one of the best we have stayed in on a city break. The top floor restaurant and champagne bar is a very nice touch. We spent our first evening drinking and eating from the small plate menu. Perfect after travelling. You’re given a free glass of champagne upon arrival and at breakfast and there is a complimentary bar in the room. Staff all very helpful.
