You need a car to get anywhere, because the road outside doesn't have a pavement.

Nothing could have been better. The location was ideal - close to so many lovely places to visit, with more ideas on the area coming from my hostess. I left with still more I would like to see.

This was the perfect place to stay. The room was larger than I expected - my own self contained bed-sit with a sofa, fridge, microwave etc. Plenty of coffee, milk, towels, toiletries - even conditioner - plus the added extras of biscuits and sweets. In my room there was a folder full of ideas of nearby places to visit and next to the breakfast room was a whole range of books, maps and leaflets on the area. I was able to chose what I wanted for breakfast from a varied list and it was cooked by the host. The breakfast room overlooked the lovely garden. Very friendly host, she asked daily if there was anything I needed.

The breakfast wasbeautifully presented and a good choice including smoked salmon. We ate in a lovely light room overlooking the garden where there were bantum hens running around and entertaining us.

On arrival met by the hosts, everything clearly explained prior to being taken to our lovely en-suite room with a four poster bed. The room was inviting, the bed scrumptious and the en-suite was well equipped. In the morning breakfast was flavoursome, tasty & a great way to set up the day. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Only comment would be the kettles in rooms contained a lot of limescale, preventing from being able to make hot drinks.

Wonderful property with excellent and attentive host. Facilities we perfect for a short stay. Breakfast set up was beautiful. The chickens were so lovely to watch in the garden.

Maunditts House is a delightful place to spend a few days as a base for exploring the local area. The host/owner, Laura, was friendly and welcoming, and obviously takes her guests' comfort and wellbeing very seriously. Our room was comfortable and attractive, with a nice view over the large rear garden where you can sit and relax if the weather's good. Breakfast was excellent, very tasty. Overall, highly recommended!

Very cosy rooms with good toiletries and hairdryer. The best part is the rich and excellent breakfast, prepared by the owner Laura, always very kind and willing to give us some useful advice. She also allowed us to do a late check-in and once she prepared the breakfast to go since we had to leave very early. The location is ideal to visit the region. Highly recommended!
