The room was well equipped but a bit tired and will benefit from the next phase of refurbishment work.

The foh faculties are really good, with contemporary design, comfortable spaces and friendly and polite staff. The hotel is also in a great location, close to the centre of Truro. a 5 mins walk down the and and you are at Hall for Cornwall.

Very small room, but it does not matter too much of you just there to sleep.

Staff extremely attentive and welcoming. Breakfast, although only continental, was excellent and filling. Very comfortable bed and clean room.

There's a sharp contrast between the trendy entry and lobby and communal spaces versus the room upstairs (I think management just didn't get to renovate up there yet). The room is not bad at all but has some 'basicness' to it. As the room is spacious and clean and the bed's very comfortable the end experience was fabulous.

Gorgeous old English house. When you walk in the decor and ambiance is top notch. There is a fireplace in a beautiful lobby where I spent a good amount of my time. I had large room and it was indeed very spacious and clean. Brisk walk down the hill and you're right in the center of Truro.

The 'large twin room' we booked was okay, but was definitely not large. For a twin room it could be described as small or, at best, medium. Therefore, at £155 for one night, it was overpriced.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is good. The included breakfast is acceptable.

Unfortunately the electric car charging point wasn’t working ( one of our main criteria when booking) Although the continental breakfast was good it would have been nice to have a bit more selection ( only breakfast pastries were croissants).

Lovely property with a modern feel. Very clean throughout . Only a short distance walking into the city centre so excellent location. Plenty of parking. Welcoming staff and dogs welcomed too.

The decoration of the rooms and the corridors leading up to the rooms are super old. The entrance, food hall, reception etc looked very nicely decorated. The decoration was not important to us tho. Everything was functional.

The staff were super friendly. We are both vegans, and they provided us vegan alternatives for breakfast. Also were travelling with our doggie. The staff helped us with the doggie :) There is free car park, which was super convenient. The rooms were very clean.

The shower in our room was tiny and the windows were too high in the bedroom you couldn’t see out, but we were told they are going to be re furnished soon.

Location was great for the town, just near enough to walk. Downstairs area of the hotel was beautifully decorated and furnished bar area and breakfast were brilliant and plenty of parking spaces.
