Only dislike would be the lack of cleaning supplies? There was no toilet brush therefore making it hard to clean after our selves which isn’t fair on the cleaning staff.

Its was very pretty, and well decorated, the bed was luxurious to sleep on. Staff were friendly and room cleaning were respectful.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Every staff member I spoke to was friendly and helpful. The room was so lovely and clean, very peaceful, huge comfortable bed and pillows and wonderful view. The bar staff made me feel like I wasn’t alone and my complimentary drink was a lovely bonus. Breakfast was also absolutely lovely, beautifully presented and quality ingredients. I was sad to leave and can’t wait to return!

Went down for breakfast at 9.40 and there wasn’t any mushrooms, beans, bacon, egg or yoghurt, told us it was coming but at 10.30 we left. The supervisor was very pleasant and apologised but it was very annoying especially as we had paid for it. Many others also went without, the supervisor did offer us a refund but as we had booked through booking.com it proved too difficult.

    Clean, quiet & comfortable

No free parking available and the paid one is expensive . The car park at the back charges nearly half of the amount so not worth to park at the hotel . Also there was a drainage problem in our bathroom . All water from the shower would flood the bathroom and had to be cleaned to avoid health and safety accidents . I advise the hotel to get a plumber who can work on the drains and let water flow through . An elderly couple would slip and fall in no time . I also did not go on holiday to wipe the hotel floor .

Good location for travelling around Devon. Clean hotel with helping staff . We were given a lovely room in which we managed to relax and sleep properly . Your average British breakfast but it was offered and it matters . Loved Latitude restaurant , definitely recommend . Live entertainment some evenings , nice bar . All in all would recommend this hotel

Not loads of parking but we did luckily manage to find a space on this occasion.

Loved the location - right on the seafront and close to all amenities. Lovely room with nice decor and a huge TV. Very comfy bed and no unwanted noise at night time. Loved the friendly staff especially the very professional receptionist who checked us in and out and dealt with all enquiries. The breakfast was nice and the restaurant had a very comfortable atmosphere.

The wine list needs to be more explanatory or the staff should need to know about them when asked.

The rooms were of a very generous size and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a sea view which on a lovely sunny day would be excellent to sit and watch the world go by.

No coffee or milk on the tray in room only tea bags. Maybe I should have asked.

Hotel in a good position, staff on reception were excellent. Room although overlooking from the back of hotel was good size comfortable and clean. Not a good view but didn't spend much time in the room anyway.

Price off food ....if brackfast was not included then would of been £18 each which I think is crazy ,, air con wasn't to great room was very warm so tried air con but wasn't the best , parking if you get a spot is £15 for 24 hours which is OK I guess!!

The bed was so comfy my 12 ur old slept on the bed sofa and she said it was the best nights sleep ever, breakfast was great too all in all loved out stay There is a little fridge in the room , there was coffee etc but no milk,

Sadly I think the hotel is lacking staff? One person on reception all the time making check in slower than it should be, the bar only had one member of staff too again slower than it should be, breakfast needs more tables, open up the side restaurant space so everyone can be seated it seemed silly people standing around waiting for tables when there are cordoned off tables right next to the main breakfast area . Car parking is under the hotel at £15 a night I hate paying this but then most hotels have these charges these days so was to be expected. Overall a very good stay at this hotel despite these minor points.

Great location right on the seafront across from all the main attractions perfect if your staying with children, room was very nice even though we didn’t have a view we didn’t care because the room was so nicely decorated and laid out and felt very nice to be in. Breakfast was good I’ve had better, needs a better selection really more fruit would be great. Staff were friendly and helpful in restaurant and reception and fast to react to my request for a cot. Overall a very nice hotel I a lovely location. Also a very nice meal in the restaurant one night we had a lovely Sunday lunch and it was cooked very well and really tasty!

There was only 1 draught beer , no lagers due to non delivery in the bar although there was bottled lager/ beer.

I loved that the staff were keen to do a good job, warm and polite. The room was v.comfortable and cosy. We got a parking space but didn't need to move the car till morning so no problems.

    Nothing not to like

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful especially Cherrie on reception who helped sort out extending our staff. The food was very good at breakfast and our evening meal in the restaurant was excellent. The facilities were first class and the sofas in reception are very comfortable. The hotel is situated close to the beach and has beautiful Seaview rooms.
