We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Lovely size of the property. Massive kitchen and main room. Good size bathroom. Bedroom good size with very soft and comfortable bed. Great communication with staff - was able to early check in, Thank You!

United KingdomOn the morning we were due to arrive, they demanded that we send copies of my wife and my IDs in advance or else we would not be allowed to check in and that providing ID at check in would not be permitted, as the check in would be unattended. They said that the ID was required "to protect the other guests". However, the booking was an apartment and the only guests were the two of us. There was no requirement for IDs stated in the property's Policies section. Booking.com states "Stay safe online. Protect your security by never sharing your personal or credit card information over the phone, by email or chat." So, as advised by booking.com, we refused to send our IDs and the property subsequently refused to allow us to stay. They said that instead of ID's we could send them £100 instead. We refused to do so. We asked for a refund of our booking and they refused to give one.

United KingdomSadly the location was the only good thing about it. Lift was out of order we were on second floor. Recommended car park was closed. Filthy lobby. The place was okay if you're into potentially bashing your head on ceilings when you get up from bed. There was this massive concrete block only a metre away from my bed. Got up few times in night and had really few near missing of walking into the massive block. Don't get me started on the stairs. Horrific death trap. The stairs start off well then at top the bed level you have really step up into the level. This increases the stumble factor. Light switches was in strange locations. Towels was tiny. No coffee, tea or sugar. Even though there was containers available they were empty. The rug in the middle of floor were a trip hazard as it was curled up at corners and I tried to get it to uncurl but still tripped over it several times. The bed was extremely spongy and we woke up aching due to no support!
The location was spot on. Perfect if you want to feel like you're sleeping in a car park as there were so much concrete

United KingdomThe property classes itself as luxury. It is far from luxury. The lift hasn’t worked in months ( resident informed us) The sockets in the bathroom don’t work. Hot water in bathroom sink didn’t work. Shower flooded as the drain had never been emptied or cleaned. There is no towel rail to hang wet towels. The fire alarm in the hall was beeping every 40 seconds. The seatee arm was broken so wasn’t comfortable. There IS NO FACILITIES to cook. Yes there is an oven but there are not dishes / pots that you can cook in. No frying pan and NO COOKING UTENSILS. There was 3 knives 3 dessert spoons 2 forks. No teaspoons no tea towels no tin opener no bottle opener just nothing. Utter bear minimum. The tv is on the small side for the room that size. The mattress was incredibly soft but the bedding smelled musty as if it hadn’t been dried properly. The property was completely filthy but things like shower drain not clean, top of skirting boards and plug sockets were covered in dust. The foyer of the building smelt of decomposing rubbish as the recycle room is in the foyer and it also had a smell of cat pee. It was also dirty and the halls had rubbish on the stairs. It was not cleaned in the days we were there. Being disabled finding out the lift wasn’t and hadn’t been working for months and we were on the second floor was a bit of a nightmare but it’s the company’s attitude of ‘oh it was working ‘ and ‘oh we will inform the owner’ to read some of the reviews and see that lots of people had informed the owner that it was lacking. Obviously the owner couldn’t give a rats butt about people staying just getting the pennies. Shame as this could be a lovely place to stay and we were looking for a regular place to go but this is now a big no no for us. The owner must think that people who pick a self contained property as just not going to prepare food or stay in. If that’s the case they would get a hotel.
