No one at desk for early checkout. couldn’t find anyone and it was 7 am ish. Just left key on desk. The stairs to the room were very steep. Desk person/Waiter upon check in rushed us through the process in less than a minute. We still have no idea what he said. Saw him over the next few days, and it looks to be his vibe. The rest of the young staff were friendly.

Location was easy to find and convenient to major roads. Love the decor of this old hotel. staff was young and attentive. the room was clean and just enough room to be comfortable. Food was exceptional.

nothing negative. Only thing to flag up is we arrived on a Thurs which is live music night. if you’re wanting peace and quiet, it’s not. It’s lively but we enjoyed it and it’s all over in time for bed - around 10.30 I think it finished.

We were traveling to Skye and stopped at Mhor 84 en route. it was the perfect ‘stop off’. great meal, nice lively ambiance, comfortable bed, great breakfast and fabulous cakes for our onward journey. we also popped into their lifestyle shop next door which was lovely! could have bought everything🤗

Breakfast could be included for the room rate, especially as the hotel is quite rural, so eating elsewhere means backtracking, or driving some way onwards. Makes a night’s stopover relatively expensive (in addition to dinner) when added on for a family of 4.

Beautiful setting - love the quirky vibe. We’ve eaten here before, but this was our first overnight stay. Comfortable beds and fun decor. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent in choice and quality. Lucky enough to be there on a live music night, which made for a great start to our holiday in Scotland. Also loved the next-door store.

Amazing live music session on Thursday night with the locals. Brilliant fish and chips and dogs are not just welcomed they are embraced and looked after. Love this place like it’s my home.

What a wonderful place I'm so glad we found. Stayed for 3 nights to be in the area for hiking and relaxing. Perfectly located, endless hikes to chose from. The bedroom was perfect - great size, very clean, extremely comfortable bed and great big/well pressured shower. The main facilities were also fantastic - wonderful friendly atmosphere for breakfast and coffee and cake and then great in the evening for dinner (lovely menu and delicious food) and drinks! Espresso martini was 10/10. The staff were fabulous and welcoming.
