It was all perfect.

Host was welcoming, attentive and interesting. I had asked for a firm mattress and was given a room with just the right bed and slept very well, Breakfast was amazing. I had the the smoked salmon with dill sauce, poached egg and asparagus which was perfectly presented and a small amount of caviar was added as well.

Wonderful location, brilliant communication, exceptional attention to detail. Very knowledgeable re local options for eateries and general area. As others have mentioned, the breakfast was lovely. Hope to visit again, as this was a one night stay.

only complaint would be that because all rooms are on the same landing and in close proximity you can hear sounds from ajoining room quite clearly which puts you a little on edge and concious you are almost being lisitened too

A little a niggle couldn’t watch live TV, but they do have Netflix & BBC IPlayer.

Even though it’s a B&B Kelvin & Meryl made us feel completely relaxed in their home. They can’t do enough for you. Fantastic friendly hosts, (Kel & Mel) lovely B&B, rooms spacious, very clean and had everything you could need. Breakfast was exceptional and offered various choices. Great location to explore the Brecon Beacons. Thoroughly recommended and we will be staying here again on our next visit to the Brecons. Great price for exceptional accommodation and service.

We had a wonderful stay, despite the very wet weather. Very generous and comfortable room, with fantastic gourmet breakfast. Short walk to the local pub for good value meals. Would definitely recommend this bnb.

We could hear snoring coming from the room next door, but it was not loud enough to be a major problem and would not dissuade us from staying at Mill Lodge again.

Hosts made sure that we had everything we needed in every sense to make our stay a memorable one, which indeed it was. 5 stars to Kel for the sumptuous cooked breakfast and for both Mel and Kel for their information on places of interest to visit.

Mill Lodge is the best lodge / b&b we have ever stayed in anywhere. The owners are on site and are making sure you have the best stay possible. We had home-made cooked gourmet breakfast to start the day. Kel also gave us brilliant tips for our hikes in the Brecon Beacons as well as the town of Gilwern. We absolutely loved it! The bathroom is a bit small, but you can manage. Parking isn't easy, but you can do that, if not, you will be helped.

Mel and Kel are such lovely people. You feel very welcome from the very beginning. They give great tips and help where ever they can. Breakfast is absolutely delicious. Even the sausages. ;) Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
