Situated in room 348, the air con didn't work. Expressed our concern to the reception and they stated that the air con only works in the summer and all heating across the hotel is on during winter, even though its spring. Then the TV wouldn't work. Rang down to reception, maintenance couldn't fix it. Moved to room 410 instead, the room had air conditioning even though we were originally told that all hotels in the uk don't have air con until summer.

1 min from tube and 15 mins from 5he royal Albert hall where we were going. Would also b3 excellent for the museums. Reasonable price for the area. Large entrance. Generous rooms and spotlessly clean. Stayed on room only basis so can’t comment on breakfast but plenty of independent cafes across the road. Only issue was lots of doors banging early 8n the morning but that isn’t the hotels fault…more to do with families and their children. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic location and the room was great. However, I would not recommend having breakfast. Food was mediocre and luke warm at best. Plenty of places nearby to pick up a good breakfast.

We arrived at the hotel lobby early morning at around 6:30-7:00 am. The reception staff after fiddling for 5-7 min told us that our room is not there and was cancelled for no show. We had booked from previous day so that we get check -in when we arrive early morning and had written to booking.com 2 messages explaining that we have booked from previous date and that checkin should be available immediately upon arrival. The reception hotel staff told us that you wrote to booking.com and not to the hotel. This really put us off as they were trying to shrug off responsibilities of this cancellation. Anyway booking.com and the Hotel were at fault, however, the good thing is that the staff at the reception quickly realized this and told us to wait for 10 min, gave us breakfast coupons and in span of 15 min allocated an upgraded and good room due to the discomfort that we had. So that squared it off and we were pleased with that approach of the hotel and staff how they handled the situation. So thumbs up for that. Booking.com please be aware of this and don't bother your customers like this. If someone is paying one day ahead to have peace and quick check in, your site should not bother them with your bot replies and not understanding the issue. And for this we need a reply from you if you are really into customer service and our long standing multiple bookings that we have done over last 10 years from your site. The hotel staff were good. Hotel is good, rooms are nice, clean, comfy, area is good, safe, underground/tube is close, good connectivity, nearby Kensington area is upscale, got decent price for 5 nights that we booked. Breakfast was also okay okay. Next time will stay again here. Would request other guest also to chose this hotel for your trip to London Central.

The air conditioning was noisy and not very good. The bathroom was tired with scrapes and some cracked tiles. When the bedroom curtain was opened you could see workman walking past.

The breakfast, lobby and location was perfect.

Family room was small especially with two teenagers. Room was dated and bathroom needed updating and a good clean.

Location was excellent very close to Tube station. Breakfast was very good, excellent selection. Beds were comfortable and lovely fresh towels daily. Nice gym. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent.

Our room was very noisy from outside noise. Lots of activity early morning and it felt like there was no proper double glazing. The window frame was metal and looked old.

Great location for museums, Hyde park, underground and street of shops to grab food. The decor feels plush and the staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was great.

It was a bit dated. No extraction fan working and the bathroom was quite small. Could have done with bedside lockers for two sides.
