Late room cleaning around 5.30pm, when we were back in the room. Cleaning of the elevators (inside doors were very dirty during our stay)

Nice hotel in the South Kensington area with lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. Gloucester subway station on walking distance (100m). Spacious room, nice double bed and clean bathroom. Staff is very friendly and helpful during the check-in and check out. Suitcases were stored due to our early arrival. Great breakfast around the corner (Steak & Company) if you're not using the breakfast at the hotel.

Breakfast was expensive for what it was. Would have liked coffee options in the room.

The room was a decent size, beds were comfortable and clean. Staff were excellent, all very polite, they sensed when help was needed and I couldn't have asked for more.

Room was very small for a family of 4. Don’t know if we actually got the Deluxe Family room upon check-in. For all the time we spent in it it was okay. Full price for childrens breakfast was disappointing.

Location was great being adjacent to the Tube station. Breakfast was not included but we paid separately for it. It was fine with plenty of choice.

The room was not vacuumed properly, sheets were dirty and weren't swapped during daily service, bathroom floor was dirty. No proper outlets next to beds, USB is way too slow.

The silicone joints at the windows need a bit of attention.

First time I am completely(!) satisfied with the staff at the GM. Perfect welcome at the reception desk (what an improvement!), efficient housekeeping, fast and reliable facility management and perfect hosts at the morning breakfast feast! My special thanks go to Kavita, an efficient and effective manager with an eye for her staff and her guests, and her team.

On our first night, got stuck in the elevator #9 with my family and 3 other guests. We rang the emergency button but got no answer. My husband called the front desk from his cell phone and another lady called emergency services. The elevator started bouncing repeatedly at which point we all got very worried and my 7-year old son started crying. Then suddenly it started going up and the doors opened randomly at floor 8. We went down to complain to the hotel manager and he dismissed it very quickly giving us 3 vouchers for free drinks (good for beer or house wine). Did not get any other apologies from the hotel. Cleaning of the room was not done properly. My kids had a snack one day before the room was cleaned and when we came back at night, there were still crumbs on the table and on the carpet. The used cups were never replaced. The tissue box in the bathroom was empty when we arrived and was never replaced during our stay. Had to queue for 10 minutes to get to the breakfast room.

Great location, underground station next door. Nice area with lots of restaurants around. Parking was available in the same building. The room was comfortable but has seen better days.

We were told we were 'upgraded' but were put in a fairly bog standard room the same as the last time we had stayed there. Not an issue but I wonder do they tell everyone they've been upgraded to make you think you're getting special treatment. Room is very dark, minimal lights/lamps so hard to do makeup etc.

Location is 10/10 - right next to Gloucester Road tube station. Easy check in process. Room was clean, nice bathroom, comfy beds.

Unfortunately some of the room needed updating especially in the bathroom. My room had no heating so they provided a convector heater. Some of the residents were noisy which has never happened on previous stays

The staff were great and the hotel was cleaned regularly. The food was good and the rooms were spacious.

Previous guests had spilled something in our room on a glass surface, it was something we spotted immediately on arrival. Nothing to get in a knot over but a wipe down would have fixed this. Bar/waiting staff were a bit aloof and not interested in taking drink orders or settling the bill. We opted to have a drink in the Bailey instead.

The location is really good for access to the underground and facilities nearby. The beds were comfortable and all linen was spotless. Aside from the couple of small negatives, definitely worth it and would recommend it to stay in.

The details of the hotel in general not were at the standar of a 4 star hotel. But I think that´s happening worldwide. Just be aware not to spect a full 4 star and you´ll be ok

The best of the hotel was LOCATION, 30 meter to subway. half block front a comecial street full of shops. Restaurats and supermarkets. Cleanning was fine and the room size was super confortable.

Room a little dated. Only one towel hook in the bathroom and the hotel’s flag flapping noisily on the wall outside the window on the first night on a very wind night.

Proximity to tube station and various eating establishments. Easy check-in and out. Good sized room and comfortable beds.

Situated in room 348, the air con didn't work. Expressed our concern to the reception and they stated that the air con only works in the summer and all heating across the hotel is on during winter, even though its spring. Then the TV wouldn't work. Rang down to reception, maintenance couldn't fix it. Moved to room 410 instead, the room had air conditioning even though we were originally told that all hotels in the uk don't have air con until summer.
