Levels of cleanliness in the rooms could have been better and room facilities were basic.

Good staff, and breakfasts were good.

The portions in the restaurant are to small for evening meals I'm a contractor and was expecting a big meal when I order fish and chips ,although it was. Good very tight on chips and the fish was tiny to small for £13.50 Alan wooster

Very friendly staff could not do enough for me excellent will definitely go again

I did have squeaky floorboards and wondered if I was disturbing anyone below me walking around. Hope not!

The room was just for one person, but it was still a decent size, the bed was a small double rather than a single which was good. The room had everything I expected and needed. It was clean, it was cleaned whilst I stayed there which a lot of places don't these days. I didn't feel cramped in any way. Had one cooked breakfast which was very nice tasty. Staff were friendly. I enjoyed my stay and felt very comfortable.

Wifi was spotty & due to location no other signal.

Lovely location. Close (10min driving distance) to Twycross Zoo. Breakfast was good but only part of the continental offerings on the menu were available.

It could do with a freshen-up of paint as the rooms did look a little tired. But that didn't take away from our stay.

Good wine choice. Restaurant/bar was convenient and food choices were good pleasant staff throughout, both front and back of house.

    No complaints

I only needed a room for the night and had booked this because it seemed very good value. In the end it was better than I was expecting. The room was just what I needed and the nice restaurant, selling good food at a reasonable price, was a bonus. I'd definitely stay again

Floorboards very spongy and very creaky, they actually moved when you stood on them so very noisy and could hear the next room walking about. So noisy woke me up .

    Staff very pleasent.

Room was surprisingly warm even when radiators were off! I descovered some underfloor hear source which explained why we had to sleep with both windows wide open in early March.

The Hotel, parking, welcoming staff, clean & tidy room. Tea & coffee tray, hairdryer, ensuite all perfect.

Very creaky floor in my room, hardly bothered me, but perhaps if there had been neighbouring room occupants.

Well kept beer, and needed no explanation when asked to serve dead flat in a jug.

Creaky floors - but an old building. Room wasn't big but adequate for a 1 night stop over. Was hot in the room but my wife likes sub tropical. There was no or very poor mobile signal (not hotels fault) but you could join their free wifi cloud.

Nice comfy bed. Good stock of tea/coffee sachets. Didn't stay for breakfast as we had to get away early. Dinner in the restaurant was good with a tasty selection of usual pub favourites and reasonably priced. Reception staff were friendly on check-in.
