Hard to find anything to complain about as it is "off grid" so to speak. Only slight issue was that the shower doesn't get very warm, but then I love hot showers 😁

What an absolutely magical place to stay. The attention to detail is second to none. The cabin is beautiful, So many little quirky finds dotted around the cabin & outside. So peaceful having a morning coffee out on the porch (even in the rain) Drew was such an incredible host - always at the end of the phone if needed. Will definitely return as 2 nights just wasn't long enough!

What a magical little place in the forest it's absolutely perfect went with my partner for her birthday and we were both blown away with the place drew has done a fantastic job and we cannot wait to go again , I would definitely rate the little diamond 10/10

Has everything you could need, we spent every morning sitting on the front porch with a brew and breakfast watching the squirrels and birds, I would happily spend every day doing the same! Drew was very accommodating and a great host, such a beautiful property which you can tell has had a lot of work put into it. This place is definitely a gem and I hope to return! Very clean property, beautiful views and very cosy.

Having to go home

It was magical. Peaceful. Well loved. And honestly the best place we have ever stayed. Trees, mountains, birds, squirrels, the hard work put into every detail is exceptional.

the only thing I would say, is their was only two pillows on the bed. if I had known I would have brought one.

No hot water in Cabin or near Toilet.

Beautiful setting. Cabin and surrounding woodland very thought through. we adored it. we shall be back for another relaxing evening around the log fire.

Absolutely everything . It is tranquil and so relaxing . This place has been made out of love . The nostalgic items all around the property add the quirkiness to it. Sitting on the veranda listening to the birds and watching the squirrels was so nice . Fire pit and bbq area is fab as all in one place but it’s in own secluded part of the grounds . And the big chair - absolutely brilliant 🤩

The Cabin is so quirky but in a good way. A lot of effort and thought has gone into making the cabin feel unique, homely and comfortable. Felt very chilled with lots of surrounding space such as outside eating area, fire pit, woods, car parking and felt very close to nature surrounded by trees. Lots of special details/ extras have been introduced to make this a special place. We went to get away to hike and cycle. The number 46 cycle path was a lovely well kept cycle path with great views, varied scenery all the way to Abergavenny and it was very quiet. it was mainly flat or down hill going so we found a more gradual incline for the return which followed the canal and then we went below to follow the footpath alongside the river which is about 80ft lower than the canal. Locals had said it would be difficult on a bike, however we managed to cycle most of the way along the path, just after the Towpath Pub. We stayed at the cabin for two nights and after some hot weather while walking and cycling it was great to have a nice shower when we got back. We set up the little table on the verandah both nights and had supper and chilled in the two comfy verandah chairs...... Perfect! The owner has left a lovely detailed booklet on the cabin with all details and local attractions. Phone service was fine even though you feel hidden away from the outside world.

you can clearly see the time and love that has gone into creating this completely unique stay. we couldn’t have asked for anything more. it was spotlessly clean , cosy blankets provided and we loved looking around at all of the wood carvings
