Beautifully restored castle in a remote quiet area yet close to ferry access. Staff was welcoming and attentive to every detail. The rooms with the views and amenities will knock your socks off! We had the 8 course menu and it was a delicious experience! Over and above expectations!!

The room was outstanding. Still can't get over the bathroom, the copper bath in particular!! Staff were brilliant, especially the one who checked me in. Would 100% stay again if in the area.

The only thing was the shower in our room… difficult to figure out and find the right setting for hot water.

Stunning location, castle and facilities. Staff were phenomenal. Food was excellent! 8-course and wine pairing, 5-course and breakfast were all culinary masterpieces. Bedroom was nicely furnished, cozy and comfortable. Castle is located very near Kilchoan pier so for ferry and tours to Staffa Island it was perfect. It was certainly the highlight of our trip to Scotland.

The castle has been restored and decorated beautifully From the moment we arrived we were given such a great welcome and throughout our stay the service was great. The drive to the castle was difficult with the single lane road.

It is hard to put into words how special the experience at Mingary Castle is. The location is magnificent and Jess and Colin make the perfect hospitality partnership. The food is imaginative yet classically brilliant and cooked to perfection. We enjoyed a truly magical 3 days here a d can't recommend it highly enough.

Everything was amazing. The property only has 4 rooms so it is all very intimate. Service was Monaco level - I was mesmerized by the type of customer service we encountered at the castle. Couldn’t recommend more! The staff is extremely friendly and again, please book this if it’s available!

Amazing stay!!! The highlight of our month long trip overseas. Jess and all the staff were fantastic and Colin, the chef, phenomenal. A great place to treat yourself and relax. We had the McCain suite which was spacious and well designed. The bath was large and had a great view. Breakfast was delicious and filling. We also had the five course and eight course dinners which were divine!

The staff were so accommodating. They did anything that the could to make your stay that much more enjoyable. Even last minute request we handled with such grace. We never felt that we were asking for too much. The location is beautiful. Understand that there really isn’t anything near by, you are remote. This remoteness is what made this trip amazing. We hope to be back sometime in the future.
