Although understand the Hotel is undergoing a refurb, there is some way to go, my room had been redecorated and furnished and although a little tight was adequate for a short overnight stay. For the price paid was more than adequate, although difficult to contact regarding a possible late arrival. Would say more of a Guest House with additional facilities than a Hotel.

No hot water at washbasin. Shower head needed cleaning, water in every direction. Kettle did not work properly. Coffee mugs were dirty. Carpet needed hoovering.

Bed was good and good night's sleep. Room was nice and warm.

The actual bedroom and bed were nice, the ensuite could do with an update and the communal areas a little tatty but overall I would stay there again for the price as a place to lay my head after a night out.

Booked twin beds, unfortunately our room was no longer available and was given another room that was too small. Owner booked us another room in his sister hotel.

I've got to be fair,here. I booked 2 nights at the hotel on the day that I travelled to Cleethorpes. The hotel had only 1 room left (Room 10) and it was at the top of an outdoor staircase. I've had pains in my right leg and found it difficult to climb the stairs. Had I known about the staircase in advance,I would have chosen a different hotel. Since I returned home,I have been bombarded with e-mails from the hotel,asking me for a review. Just 1 would have been sufficient

The location is excellent,10 minutes walk from the centre of Cleethorpes and situated on the sea front. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a little cramped but clean and comfortable.

An elevator was listed, there wasn’t one. I traveled with an elderly relative who required a lift Hair dryers listed-none in the room Our room wasn’t secure. The landing opened onto an open fire escape into an open car park

Wasn’t very clean and very cold n the room. The man there wasn’t very nice and made us feel very uncomfortable. We only went to ask about parking for an old couple who was also staying there and he was very rude. Told us that when we got back in not to basically make any noise or he would throw us out (we was only going out for food. He just assumed we was going out all night drinking) if it wasn’t late we would not have stayed there and paid for somewhere else. We got up at 7am and left. when we first got there he didn’t say hello just looked at us. Would not recommend

No view, the bedroom had no windows, no air al was available, no passwords given or ,è. Ww. Saà we, get promised a wine or champagne on arrival I don't drink anyway but they don't even mention it. Please avoid realistically it's not comfortable. Thje lady receptionist was pleasant, I bet the only reason the place has custom.

If that was the “upgraded room” then I hate to imagine what the original room would have been like. The whole place smelled like damp. Nothing appears to have been changed or redecorated for at least 30 years.

Run down generally, shared toilet out of order with a bad smell in the stairwell. Appreciate this was probably a temporary thing. Room was ok but all a bit dated.

Rude staff, very abrupt. I booked this hotel for my brother. On arrival was told he would be chucked out if he broke any rules. Check out was up to 10.30 but at 9am he was told to leave and hand the keys back.

pulling in to the car park there were broken items from the hotel and it wasn’t very welcoming, there was a problem with the drains and when we arrived back to the hotel at midnight the smell was almost unbearable to the point my friend was nearly sick.

Had to wait outside for 20-30 minutes as nobody was there, there was a number to ring. Room was pretty crappy but for the price I wasn’t expecting much. The lock didn’t work so I took it off and re-fixed it with my Swiss Army knife.

The guy that gave me my key was friendly. I read really bad reviews about people getting charged extra and rude staff, I didn’t have any problems. Not somewhere I’d take my kids for a weekend away but fine for a night by myself while working.
