The communication within the hour before checking-in: Having to send ID verification (twice) while travelling to accommodation and having to agree a new set of house rules (for initially the wrong number of guests), all via the chat function. This, aswell as the slightly confusing key pickup instructions, didn't give us a great arrival/ check-in experience.

Modern/ well maintained apartment, with good transport links into the city centre. The Utilita Arena is in reasonable walking distance, but also close to bus route. Also, there was cheap day parking, across the road, in hospital car park (£5.60), should any of the 2 parking permits the owner has, isn't available.

Low standard of cleanliness in the apartment, finger marks on cutlery, lots of dust especially on appliances and worktops in the kitchen and some loose hairs as shown in the pictures. The apartment is advertised as having free parking however, there is only one guest parking bay which another guest in a different apartment was already using so I ended up with no parking. When telling the staff about this they were quite blunt and in other words said it was my fault for not checking before hand to reserve the parking, which I would have if they had made that clear in the description/after booking. Also, just be aware where the apartment is situated is directly opposite a large hospital/A&E so expect to hear a few sirens throughout your stay.

Reasonable price for size of apartment, nice interior and design of apartment. Quite easy to access and find.

This guy will try to scam you do not book this place literally agreed with me to cancel the reservation and provide me with a full refund after asking me to put down a deposit which was not stated in the description, he waited until my reservation has ended to then tell me that I’m not receiving a penny back. Very rude and unprofessional and I would not advise anyone to book with this con artist.

he texted me the day before about a £100 deposit because it was my birthday? that was not stated in the policy. If i didn't pay id have to pay a big cancellation fee whixh was more than the deposit itself. Because i had guests come over even tho we cleaned up didnt break anything was hardly in the apartment as i was out all night. so he kept the deposit

In the email, I was told to ring a certain door bell number to be given access to the property. I was told there would be a key box and was given the code. There was no key box so I knocked on the door of the number given for access to the front door. There seemed to be some confusion about my booking but eventually I was given the keys to the apartment. Make sure you organise a parking permit before you arrive and that when you've paid for the parking that the permit is in date - the one I was eventually given was almost a month out of date - which could have resulted in a £100 fine! Also be sure to take your own drinking mugs as there wasn't a single mug to have a tea or coffee in and believe me I searched everywhere for one! There is also a small piece of wall missing next to the kitchen sink, not quite sure why but the board has just been left on the side! I didn't realise that the apartment is literally opposite the City Hospital so I was unable to have the windows open during the night because of the constant noise.

The apartment was light and bright and clean. The access to numerous TV channels was a bonus.

Very inconvenient booking and checking in process; Bare apartment so bring absolutely everything with you; No free parking as mentioned in description, so be prepared to pay extra.

I was very unhappy with my stay here and will not be re booking the landlord was very rude we didn’t have any hot water in the property and when I let him know he sent out fake boiler people that were probably his friends to pretend to fix the boiler and left and I was still left with no running water . When I stated the water was still not on hr then argued with me making it out like I was lying about it I then was promised an actual boiler man would be sent out after extending my stay for longer for a shocking price ! And when the man arrived he refused to let him touch the boiler as the price was to expensive so don’t book here unless you want cold showers… there was also a knife in the bedroom draw upon arrival very weird and uncomfortable. & before leaving the property I was accused of pulling the WiFi router out of the wall when I didn’t even know where the box was !
