The shower was not the best (not hot enough and the cubicle was small) but acceptable.

Excellent location. Room was large and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Hosts Jane & Tim were attentive, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Our dog was well catered for too. Parking permit was offered for the duration of our stay which was very welcome. Would def book again

The breakfasts were excellent! We had a full cooked breakfast every morning with good quality ingredients and hearty portions. The room was lovely - very comfortable and clean and cosy. The hotel is handy for the coast and the town centre. Jane, the host, is very friendly and helpful.

Wished we'd stayed longer.

We really enjoyed our stay, everything was first class. Beautiful breakfast every morning and very friendly hosts. We will definitely be going back, highly recommend the Mon Fort Hotel. Kay Rainforth.

Nothing to dislike!

It was outstanding! Immaculately clean & the attention to detail throughout the whole place was impressive, from decoration to all those little touches that make a place special. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had a lovely view of the gardens opposite. Very modern bathroom with everything we could need from toiletries to flannels. A very comfy bed, lots of storage, the decor was cleverly matched and the communal areas were really smart too. A bright, light breakfast room with great views of the sea & a very substantial breakfast ordered the evening before. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and we felt like valued guests throughout our stay. We couldn't recommend Mon Fort more highly!

Are stay wasn’t long enough

The room was lovely with a sea views comfy bed everything really clean you were able to ask for more tea coffee biscuits if you required. They were clearly trying to be sustainable which I really liked breakfast was excellent

Our room was on the second floor and there’s no lift. My wife has some mobility problems so we’d have appreciated either a room on the ground floor or a lift. Nothing else to dislike from our point of view.

Good room, large and very comfortable bed, good en-suite facilities, excellent breakfast. Location very good, ample parking available adjacent to the property at a reasonable price. Hosts were attentive and helpful.

The room was big had a view of the gardens, very clean & the bed & pillows were so comfy, Jane & Tim were great hosts. Breakfast has to be ordered the day before, the first day we had the full English it was high quality plentiful and delicious we didn’t eat again until dinner :) the rest of our stay we ordered the light breakfast consisting of porridge, cereal, toast & jams, marmalade and honey, fresh fruit and yogurt was exactly that fresh and delicious presented lovely too. We will definitely be returning

One tiny niggling thing was that the water in the basin was not very hot. Apart from that there was nothing.

We stayed 3 nights in a sea view room. Lovely comfortable bed and en suite facility. Our breakfast was just what we wanted and cooked to perfection. There is a lovely bar which is amply stocked with draught beers.
