Attention to detail would have made it better. There was an air mattress to accommodate the fourth person in my family but there were no sheets for it. The room and the bathroom were all new (newly renovated) but the bathroom could have used a final wipe down - just found some dust and a couple of small dead insects by the window. The sink is tiny. It felt like an airplane sink. It was hard for a regular washing of hands or face without getting the water on the floor.

We needed a place to rest for about 11 hours for a layover in London before heading home to LA. This place was the most affordable place that was close to the Heathrow airport. What we liked was the owner who was very accommodating. He gave us free water and set us up so that we would be as comfortable as we could. The beds were comfortable with clean sheets. We would have loved to have tried his restaurant in front of the accommodations but had to leave early in the morning!

The shower is very temperamental, keeps switching between boiling hot and cold. Also there is a lack of pressure. No house numbers on the building so it’s hard to find.

Great location, good parking right out front, decent size room and good sized beds.

This property has so much potential. It could be so cute and quaint with a touch of nostalgia and cool history. Unfortunately, it was not clean, there was no toilet paper or clean folded towels, there was black hair in the sink and a dirty sock left in the wardrobe. The pillows did not have pillow cases or a duvet cover on the duvet. The fitted sheet on one bed had stains all over it. It is a dark entry and it was hard to tell if we were in the right place or not. The host basically was not ready for us. We arrived at 11 pm and did send a note that we would be a late arrival, we woke up the sister in the main cottage and were left on the street to wait for his arrival. If we had an option of somewhere to go we would have left. The host did give us free bottled water and 2 pops. The location is optimal one stop from Heathrow.

The WiFi doesn't work because the signal is week. Can't sit on the toilet because off the sink right next to it. No toiletries in the room had to ask for them only got towels and toilet paper.

Close to train station and airport. Not good if you are with family.

The photo to the actual residence was painted different so I wasn’t sure if we were in the right place at night.

We came in late and even then they were all amazing at making sure we got in and settled for the night.

The location was poor - a jet plane taking off every 4 minutes 50 feet above the room. I was handed keys to the guest door but the door wouldn't lock. I was told the planes would not continue however I was there for 30 minutes and a plane went overhead every 4 minutes. The fan in the bathroom had moss growing/hanging down from it. I have no faith in Booking.Com as there are no refunds. I had to pay for another hotel room. I am sorry to have to write this negative response as it is someone's business however travelling alone I did not appreciate the accommodation and! I had requested a quiet location!

The location was poor. It was 50 feet below the planes taking off from Heathrow Airport.

Room was very good and comfortable. The staff was also very cooperative and helpful during the stay they even made changes according to our wishes even which was requested in short notice.
