When we arrived,it was no water in bathroom,any in shower or sink.One shower for at least 6 rooms! Dirty toilet ,full bin of toilet paper 😟I preferred to use wet wipes.Somebody was smoking in room, smelled not nice.No towels at all

The bathroom wasn't in great shape - the toilet was pretty unclean and the shower was broken.

I booked based on price and I got what I paid for. There were no frills like towels, but I needed a bed for the night and there was one. The guy whose house the room is in seemed very friendly.

-The owner doesn't provide towels, -The owner doesn't provide bathing soap or liquid , -The toilet is not well kept (not at all) -The beds do not have proper duvets. The mattress is still sealed in plastic.

Was advertised as a hotel and in the city centre, was actually a house renting rooms and an hour outside the city centre. Ended up missing the concert I was in manchester to see as misleading information had me looking for the wrong thing. Would be nice to put up a sign outside the property.

I would have liked to know that this is a family house, not a hostel, before I booked. Not very clean, the floor in my room was filthy and all the surfaces were very dusty. Check-in and check-out times are not flexible at all. Asked if I could leave the bags until 11 and they said they'd charge me for late check-out. There is a school across the road. The sound insulation is really bad, woke up at 7am to slamming doors.

It could do with an extra bathroom. My room was little cold too, but I had an extra blanket and lots of space. Very pleasant stay. I will hopefully return to this accommodation to get away from crowded places.

Host is very educated, smart and friendly. Very approachable and open to suggestions.

The beds were falling apart, they sent someone around at 10pm to look at them after calling them at 4.15 to try and change rooms, we was told that someone would be there in 30 minutes, we had kids trying to sleep, people being very noisy all night, trying to get into our room, the room was filthy and definitely not cleaned beforehand, no tv, but on a positive note they had wi-fi

We did not had hot water available in the shower so we could not shower and at some point they did not have water at all! When it was na back it was still cold and we couldn’t shower through the all time we stayed there. The Toilet was dirty not up to standard.

Not so much didn't like, boiler was on the blink for showers. That can't be helped though, these things happen. Host again tried really hard to reconcile the issue. I was say the bed was a bit springy but I am the male version of the princess and the pea, the moment I stay away from my own bed you could put me in any bed and I'll find it wrong. That said, I did sleep really well.

Location, brilliant. Host, superb (warm, friendly and definitely offered beyond what he needed to (towels, potential use of kitchen). Lovely man. Perfectly located for what I was visiting for. Superbly priced. Can't argue in the slightest the cost. It won't be for everyone but I know the host gets repeat visitors so he is definitely doing something right.

Everything. I literally only needed a bed for the night, after driving all day. I wasn't expecting much, but even so, it was a massive disappointment. The bathroom is not private, as advertised, and was shared between about 4 or 5 rooms of people, and pretty grim. The room hadn't been cleaned, the bed was like a pile of rusty springs and actually painful to lie on. People slamming doors and talking loudly through paper thin walls until 2am, and then starting again at 5am. I booked 3 nights and left after 1. The owner makes sarcastic comments on reviews about people expecting the Hilton. But frankly, you couldn't *pay me* £20 a night to stay there. Spend £20 on a bottle of whiskey, pee in front of a cop car and spend the night in the drunk tank, it'll be a much more pleasant experience.
