A failed arrangement to book in early and a forgotten booking. I found rubbish and other items in the room, though I did not look too closely. Some of the furniture was broken. The room was intended for a couple with a child, so it was a waste of resources. No view. The single bed felt like a camp bed with strange springs. I am used to having personal facilities in the same room, so sharing a bathroom with others was strange and embarrassing. I was disturbed by someone during the night who had the wrong floor (second). The door was very insecure which was annoying and of concern.. What I could see of the ground and lower floors needed a good clean. I did not notice local cafés for breakfast but town is nearby.

A free lift to work, thank you as an apology. Impressed by the wardrobe in the room. Lovely student atmosphere on a balmy evening on the front patio (reassuring as I got back late on). Good transport links (192 ). Nice family area. Cheap. Warm. Reasonably clean. New communal carpet, and not too badly maintained.

There was no rubbish bin inside the room. The toilet and bath was not exclusive. It was okay that it was shared. For its price it was reasonable. However, it seems that it was shared by the whole household. It seems like there were 10 or more people who reside in that property. And all of them are using the same toilet and bath. I think it’s ridiculous. When I arrived I immediately went to the toilet to do my business then I was just 10 minutes in somebody was knocking and harassing me to get out because he was going to use the toilet. Then I decided to use the toilet to have a shower at midnight after I attended my event, since I assumed that there will be a lot of people who will want to use it in the morning. I didn’t want to bother people in the morning as some might be going to work and might need the toilet and bath. I was just 20 minutes in and lo and behold somebody was knocking! It was 0030!!! Freaking midnight! And somebody wanted to use the toilet! I honestly think there are 20 people who live there now. I cannot even brush my teeth in the morning. 🤣 There were faeces scattered in the toilet bowl. The experience was so disappointing. It was noisy. no wifi. The room however was clean and spacious and the host was nice. But if you are going to run a business like this the amenities could have been better. I tried this type of accommodation for the experience but if you have few quids to spare, you should opt for a hotel. Even my stay in a £25 room in London was better 🤣

The place is crawling with cockroaches , filthy ,lack of facilities, light switch in the corridor instead of the room, basin tap is falling off . On the whole disgusting and is a heath hazard .

I have traveled this country extensively for the past twenty years and even backpacked around the world, I have to say this place is the worst I've ever stayed at. Despite the price, it was not worth the agro.

Owner blamed Booking.com for a double booking. I have applied for a refund and it was not authorised. I will be claiming back through my bank as I was not given the service I paid for in advance and had to make other last minute arrangements.

the wife of the owner was creepy && hateful 🤦🏾‍♀️ Threatened by female guests clearly && her kitchen is crawling with cockroaches 🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳

The male owner was very polite && friendly && the wife of the owner clearly had an issue with female guests && with me coming in late from being out all day && i am positive that she had the male guests watch me on the stairs && watch me through cracks in their room doors to see what i was doing which was creepy && her kitchen has cockroaches 🤮

No towel no TV no T or coffee facilities Heating stuffy The landlord wanted an extra 15 pounds if I wanted to book in before 4 PM Absolutely no facilities whatsoever No proper lighting just one lampshade and 1 pair of sockets in the wall for the entire room

Very petty asking for another extra £16 to leave suitcase half hour before check in . Not about to use kettle in the kitchen for a cuppa. No glass nor water in rooom

As above. I booked two rooms which were available but the owner would not let me have them even though I was told by booking.com that my booking had gone through and money was taken although I did get a refund but had to find another hotel which was a bit more expensive

the property was clean and good value for money in a great location. the hosts made the stay very comfortable and pleasant stay. they were very welcoming and answered any questions and requests to a very high standards. will be returning in the future. thank you for a lovely stay.

The light for the room was on the outside of the room but I arrived after working at 3am so I didn't particularly need it on thankfully

For where it is, it's a nice place was 30 min away on a bus from picadilly but that was my own fault for not looking at it on the map before hand home owner was very polite and facilitated to what I needed

No TV/entertainment, is ideal for a short stay but not for a long trip.

Good location not too far from the city centre easily accessible by public transport or taxi. Also got a nice room.

I could not stay there, attendant didn’t come to open the place for me had to stay out all night looking for a different place to book. I never expected this and I’m very disappointed
